She is! Plus Elfen Lied was my introduction to anime if you don't count casual shows like Hamtaro.

Same with me, really. I never bothered with anime that much until I decided to watch that. Really good anime. Great characters, good writing and a good story.

Yes, definitely.  Although it is not my favorite anymore, it will forever have such a special place in my heart. I might put it on my list of rewatching despite having done it three times already. It's also the only anime I absolutely cannot watch in sub.  I watched the English dub when I started and I gave the original Japanese version a shot but it's just so weird.
