It was part of her routine, so it couldn't be helped. She walked backward into the water, watching to make sure Serenade was following her.

@@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom "Yes, it's right this way," Spike said as he led the small crowd to the meeting room. It took a few minutes to get everyone there, but when they arrived, they would be greeted with the three familiar faces of Princesses Celestia, Luna, and Twilight. "Thank you, Penny Buttercup, and thank you Last Stand. Your statements have been most informative," Princess Luna said, addressing the guests that were already in the room. Princess Luna and Princess Celestia had papers in front of them. On those papers were Last's and Penny's statements as recorded by Twilight. Being royals, over the millennia they had to read many documents, so it made sense that it would only take a few minutes to read such a document, despite its length. Upon seeing the guards and volunteers arrive, Celestia says in her usual gentle voice, "Ah, the guards are here. Now we can begin." The three princesses were sitting at one end of a rather long table, and there was an empty seat at either side of them for a total of five seats. One seat was clearly meant for Cadence, having her cutie mark on it, but the other empty seat had an image that was half flower petal, half feather, split down the middle. Celestia sat in the middle, as that was the position that commanded the most authority. There were plenty of seats for all of the guests on the long sides of the table, and some of the guests were already finding seats for themselves. @@Rapid Wind "I'm not sure. What would you recommend, Discord?" Starlight didn't really know this place well, so it seemed best to rely on someone that has been there before to determine what was good. That, and the decision was a bit difficult to make with the number of choices they had on the menu.

@@Rapid Wind @@Blitz Boom More guards started to arrive at the castle. Though few if any would know what they were there for, some could guess after seeing some of the damages in town. One by one the guards arrived, mostly the Day Guards with a few Night Guards mixed in, having been summoned for a meeting in the castle. So too did arrive some of the citizens of Ponyville, called in to help out as well. None of them payed much attention to Stargazer and his guest. If anypony were paying much attention, they might see Princess Luna and Princess Celestia fly in and land on a balcony before walking inside. Spike opened the front door, then announced in an 'official duties' sort of tone, "The meeting is about to begin. All those who will attend please enter now. Thank you." It may have sounded like he had rehearsed it a couple of times, but he had never addressed the Royal Guards in an official manner before, so it was understandable. @@Rapid Wind Starlight was a little impressed by Discord's manners. It wasn't often that somepony pulled out a chair for somepony these days, except maybe Spike. She sat down and said, "Thank you," politely before picking up the menu to see what this place had to offer.

Out of @Lonk Chase, @GingerLightning, @Melke, @Blitz Boom, @Mentis Soliloquy, @Quinch, @Denim&Venom, and @SugarfootWillie only two of you have responded since my last post. I was hoping to have a little more to respond to than that. The Forgotten One is at the center of this battle, so it's a bit hard to decide what he'll do if I don't know where half of his opponents are or what they're doing.

Asexuality is a hard concept for some to understand, so make sure you have it planned out how you will explain it to them. I'm glad to hear you're coming out though. I hope it goes well.

@@Blitz Boom @@Moonlit @@Hazard Time Derpy played along with Ziggy's roleplay, lying on her side with one of her front hooves holding her up like she were trying to get away, and her other front leg shielding her face. "Oh no, not the laser eyes! Anything but the laser eyes!" she said emphatically, then giggled a goofy little giggle.

@@Blitz Boom I wasn't thinking about the guards outside, but it would make sense for there to be guards at either side of the door, but there wouldn't be much interaction because they would be performing their duties. I was referring to the meeting inside, which I have an idea why others will be allowed to attend. I'd like an idea of what you wanted the characters to discuss, though I do have a couple focus points planned myself regarding current events in Ponyville. I would like to request that you consider having Last attend.

I might not have much time until tomorrow night or Saturday, but I do have a plan for what will be discussed at the meeting with the Royal Guards. I also have about 12% of a plan in regards to the meeting with Serenade, which will take place later in the same day (at least, that's how I expect the timelines will line up given the rate they are going now). Will post when I can.

@@Rapid Wind Starlight sees Discord look in her direction and immediately returns a fake smile. She didn't want to seem unfriendly or distant. She continued to follow the others, still not knowing exactly where they were going. @@Blitz Boom @@Moonlit @@Hazard Time "You seem tired," Derpy said to Serenade after seeing her collapse. "Maybe we should wait until tomorrow for your flying lessons. Swimming when you're tired can be extremely dangerous, especially when it's dark outside." She sounded genuinely concerned for Serenades safety, as opposed to just reciting what she had once been told. Derpy really didn't want to cancel the lesson, but it would be unwise to let a pony who was too tired to stand try to swim at night, let alone doing strength training for her wings.

I will post more responses another time, it's getting late, but at least I got one response in.

There was one newcomer, however, that would be able to see him, as well as the other Forgotten and the beast itself: the only one here who had the help of an Everspirit to seal her mind in the Realm of Dreams, Queen Allure. Such magics as The Forgotten One's don't affect merely the individual being targeted, but rather affects the world around them as well, and with her mind protected, Queen Allure was immune to the magic which would cause her to forget. See, the Forgotten weren't actually invisible, but rather the image of them would not have time to register in anyone's mind before it was forgotten. They still couldn't make contact however because they were on the same plane of existence as spirits. The Forgotten One pulled Ink through to the other side, tossing him aside like he was nothing. The creature opened its eyes and turned to look toward the first one it saw: Vivid Loss. It began half crawling, half slithering toward her with rage in its eyes. Penny put Rob, her living chocolate frog, back in her saddlebag, clipping it shut. The Traveler looked toward the spiders with no change in expression on his face. He was not impressed. "The true enemy is before us, and will be visible shortly," he said to the spider that had addressed him, "...that is, if the young Queen brought what is needed."

@@Moonlit @@Hazard Time @@Blitz Boom "Swimming sounds like a great idea," Derpy said excitedly. Swimming was the next step in flight lessons anyway, at least for Pegasi that didn't learn in Cloudsdale. If you can push water with your wings, then in turn you would know how to push air as well.
