When it comes to the canon characters, if anyone wants the story to take a certain direction, consider them to be a team effort. I will post the responses, trying to stay true to the way the character would do things, but when it comes to what the character does, I'm open to suggestions (this doesn't mean I won't come up with it all myself if you have no suggestions, just that I will consider any suggestions or requests you do have). . @everyone For this new character, imagine an unedited pony base drawing. Everything will make sense in my next post, I swear! Well, actually, it's me talking so no promises. . @@Blitz Boom Sorry if there is a little 'God modding' again, it's the only way to make this happen. @@Blitz Boom The being from behind the black door reached its massive hands out of the staircase in the hall of dreams, pulling itself forward, toward the doors that were still there. The hall had not changed itself for him, even the hall itself didn't know he was there. There he found a door that was still active, one with Last's cutie mark on it. The door opened and the creature of darkness crawled its way in, unseen, unheard, and undetected. For he could not be noticed, that was something that was taken from him long ago...

I'll play the part of Twilight. I'm on often enough that I shouldn't end up slowing you down. @@Blitz Boom What's going to happen is severely limiting. I will only take Last for now, revealing more in depth what is happening, then the decision can be made wether other players want to allow it to happen to their characters. Briar should be left out of that for now though as the impact it has on the story is quite large and he's kind of important for the seed planting part. The way I'm working this out, it makes more sense for her to be taken first. Also, I need to ask: What is the extent of Briar's magic? Can he fire beams of energy at all?

@everyone The characters affected by The Forgotten One will still be in the roleplay, there's just certain limitations that will be set on them. I will be posting later, which will reveal in more depth what is actually happening. Edit: I will be waiting to make that post. The timing doesn't seem right for it yet. @@Blitz Boom If you could write Last in, it will make things flow a bit better. It doesn't matter wether you write her into a dream or in the waking world, although a dream could be more interesting (any time is fine, morning or night).

Charlie continued, focusing his fears into new links, lengthening the chain at both ends, being sure to do so at a slow pace so Queen Allure could keep up.

Fears can hold us back, but they can also be used to hold the world back as a way to keep us and our kin safe," Charlie explained. He then realized he had no idea what happened to his seeds when he exploded. "You have shown me a new fear. You have made me realize that my own offspring may not be safe. They may not even get the chance to begin their lives. Seven seeds I had before I exploded. This will be the next link in my chain, and the first thing I will do when I can walk in the physical world is look for them." He wasn't panicking, there would be no sense in that, but he was worried.

I will need some players willing to offer up their characters to my new villain, The Forgotten One. Though I don't want to get into the specifics yet, the characters involved will get out of it just fine once things are resolved, but until then will be severely limited by what happens to them. Here is a list of characters who may be vulnerable in the early stages of his attack, although others may be affected later: Syo Briar Vivid Last Renius Priestess Crescent Seamore Blitz Missklang If anyone here is willing to let their characters be affected by The Forgotten One, please let me know. I can't really clarify what this entails without spoiling the story for later.

@@Denim&Venom Charlie changed from his changeling form back into a whisp so he would be more focused. He made a second door appear for him to demonstrate on. "Now do as I do. Focus on your worst fear or your worst memory, whichever is stronger. Imagine that that fear is a link in a chain," he said as he made a terrormite appear before him, which transformed into a chain link so black that it pulled in some of the light around it. "You don't have to make the fear appear before converting it, but it might be a little easier that way." @@Blitz Boom @@Moonlit "We will continue looking while you rest. Hopefully we find the book soon," Luna replied, still pulling books out, checking them, then putting them back.

@@Denim&Venom Dreamscape: "If you want, I can demonstrate for you, unless you would like to try for yourself first," Charlie offered. The next two steps would be a lot simpler, but this step was said to be the most difficult one of all. The Castle: Miles wandered off, back toward the room where he first arrived, to wait for Luna to bring him back. To the whole hive he brodcast, and if his theory were correct Queen Allure would hear him in her dreams as well, "Good night to you all, and rest well. If any of you need me, feel free to call on me."

@@Denim&Venom "Terrormites," Charlie said with a serious look on his face. He was of course talking about a species of magic resistant, termite-like insects. "The one thing I was most afraid of when I was alive was terrormites. Imagine being eaten alive, over the course of years, and you can't do anything to protect yourself. Little insects, crawling inside you, pulling you apart bit by bit, one bite at a time. Or how about a thunderstorm when you're just as tall as any other tree. Your friend gets hit by lightning and catches fire, and all you can do is wait to see if you get hit next, or if the fire will spread to you first. How about having a giant spider cover you in webs until you can barely feel the sun, basically waiting until you starve. Don't assume that living as a tree means living without fear. When you're a tree, the end is always coming, and there is nothing you can do to stop it. We may welcome our ends, but only when it is our time, and only if it is done right."

@@Denim&Venom The Castle: "I'll be leaving now. Rest well, I'll see you in the morning," the doctor said, turning to the door. "Please make sure they are not disturbed, they need their rest. The hive connections are repaired, but the stick needs to stay until tomorrow. It's helping to heal some of the internal damage. Don't let her try to remove it herself, I will be back in the morning," he broadcasted to the changelings guarding the door as he was leaving. Dreamscape: "The strongest memories and fears work best, specifically the ones that impact you the most, the ones that hold you back. If there are any that you feel 'guilt' for, those will work well," Charlie said, the word 'guilt' not holding much meaning for him.

He opened the bottle with his telekinesis, pouring five small pills onto his hoove, presenting them to Priestess. "Take these and get some rest, let the Everwood do its magic. I will return in the morning to remove it." Dreamscape: Charlie stood next to Allure, facing a the door. "The first step: focus on your worst fears and your darkest memories, the things that hold you back. Each will become a link in the chain, but instead of letting the chain hold you back, turn it against the door and make it hold the world back," Charlie explained. He then waited for her to proceed before he would continue on to the next step.

I don't like being forgotten... and neither will you...] A hand made from the darkness itself reaches out of the void, the creature it belonged to clawing it's way out of its prison.

"It acts as a muscle relaxant and it will help a little with the pain. It may even make you a little drowsy. You don't have any allergies to any medications, do you?" Queen's Dream: "I've had many a bird born in my branches and sensed the mating of many squirrels, too. Although I have never been able to see anything at all until tonight," Charlie said, still a bit confused.
