Did anybody ever have such moments when they discover a thing, would it be a game, movie, music, etc, with mixed responses, and find enough good things in it to really like/love and appreciate it?

If I am to name a thing that I was really fascinated by when I was younger, but today it's something that i question concept-wise today, it would be Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. Has some great music, but overall structure, narration, the way it is presented - all this is too...unconventional, to say the least.

If there is a thing that I am greatly split on, it would be the Gravity Rush dilogy. Absolutely marvelous music, very decent gameplay...but the story leaves so many questions unanswered

Tried to some places - no answer whatsoever.
Tried another place - failed to register due to site's specific rules.
Tried reddit - no answer and the poll results are kept in a draw.
Ever had that time when everything is actively spitting out the question you ask them without an answer?

@Sparklefan1234 Also a certain element that doesn’t work in your favorite version, but works in other versions. And worst of all, other fans think it works in favorite version as well

I think the reason is obvious.
But yeah, I agree completely with you. In this case, I was fine with the clip shows, as they were bonus episodes. If one of the regular episodes had been a clip show, I wouldn't have liked that at all.
