Hello everyone. Light Blade here.

Writing this while in a loud company that I never intended to join, but…it isn’t like I had that much of a choice. I didn’t want to because, and I just now realized it, I just do not have heart for this.

10 months ago I was forced to abandon my everyday life and one later I leaved Ukraine. Since then I have been trying to adapt in a country where I feel like an alien until this day: Switzerland. As someone who was never a big fan of changes as significant as this, especially when they happen as suddenly as they did (and don’t forget the circumstances), I am struggling big time to find anything really positive aside from the fact that I am safe and sound, like some of my relatives. I fell into that pit where you cannot completely realise where are you going from that point and wander in the dark trying both working and not-so ways to not lose the way. I felt there and hasn’t yet crawled out of there. The other thing that happened to me is that I got overall even less talkative and more cynical in public under the circumstances (like…certain someone). Even now, surrounded by overall positive and loud people, I only experience loud noise as well as wish to go back to where I currently reside and be by myself, no matter what others have to say about how wrong would that be.

However, tonight I have come here to thank all of you who has been keeping me a company here so far. You are a very vital part of my other side that helps me to cope with things happening in life. You all have been my sanctuary so far, and for that I am forever grateful. And I wish to all of us that the upcoming year fairs…at least better than this one. And that those, who got lost, find their way back to light and move on.
