Because if want they want is sex and you want to please them, then that's what you need to give them.

If people read purely for sex, how I pity the human race.

Then you need to appeal to a different audience. If your readers want sex, but you don't want to write that, then you need to advertise to a different crowd. Go post in the Fan Fiction section in Octavia's Hall.
