Well, the enemy is basically unstoppable, and the lack of weaponry in the game forces you to hide from them rather than taking them head-on. This may or may not be scary depending on the player, as some prefer the comfort of the dark to conceal their presence, so it'd be somewhat natural for them. During cases where you're solving a puzzle or advancing to the next area, you tend to get anxious about "triggering" things, fearing that the enemy might pop out as per the game desi...

...gn, but overall it's more startling than scary, at least in my opinion. I prefer to hide rather than to fight in horror games, so there's that - but if you're being chased down by an unstoppable monster with no means of defending yourself, then it gets scary; you'll have to run for your virtual life at that point
