I've heard that bullcrap for nine years. I heard that after someone attempted to rape me. I heard that after time after time in the ER due to negligence. I heard that when I was locked up like an animal in a cage for having sodding epilepsy. I've heard that after years of beatings at the hands of psychotic lesbians and bipolar psychopaths. I'm sick of hearing the same comforting swill with no substance. I want results, not a promise that doesn't hold water.

Then you have to change something in your life to get results. Alcohol only helps in temporarily forgetting your problems and in the end only harms you more. About the rape and the beatings, it seems like you live in a pretty rundown area. Maybe move to somewhere brighter and safer. Try taking part in happier groups and activities (like this community) and try to avoid anything that causes sadness/pain.

No, I'm in a very safe area. I just wasn't in safe schools 5-9 years back.
