Shadow the Hedgehos is a cool concept, blending gunplay and mission objectives with Sonic style movement and gameplay. the framerate updating is horrible, though, often being either silky-smooth or lagging the shit out. the objectives are fun, but frustrating at times. the music is pretty cool, and the graphics as well. the game also SCREAMS angsty teenager, what with Shadow's past and 'bad endings', where he kills off some of the main characters.

i dunno why, but it sounds like a bad fanfic going horribly wrong when he's punching Eggman in the face while he is screaming "nooooooooo!". it's like, whoa, this is fricking canon? i thought i was playing some teenager's wet studio dream!

It is a game that is tolerable. Based on system, however, the lag problem can differ.

As for the story... I never liked the stories of the recent Sonic titles. They scream out BAD FANFICTION. I mean, '06 had the whole "Necron" moment at the end (Not to mention the weird, awkward makeout thing Elise did with Sonic), Unleashed had "Dark Gaia" and "Light Gaia" (Wow, seriously... you couldn't think of any better?)...
