Two questions, is religion class just in private schools, and when they say religion is it talking about all religions or just one that the school endoreses?

  Well which school are you going to? In my experience at Hillsdale, unless a religion class is about a specific denomination, religion classes, such as our Intro to Western Religion Class, are generally about whatever religions fall into that category (although at the beginning of the class we briefly touched upon general world views such as pantheism ,nihilism, etc.)
