    I'm confused. Is metal bending still a branch of Earth bending or is it's own separate thing now? I saw toph. So I'm assuming it's like a branch still.

      Also, exactly what defines earth? Does that include all 92 natural elements? I see nuclear warfare, easily. Then the avatar is pretty much useless. I tell you, the avatar will be gone after this series. No way he can survive nuclear.
