It was more offensive to remove Derpy than to keep her in my opinion. Think about it. By removing her, Hasbro is basically saying, "If you are cross-eyed, have a lower voice than the average female, and are clumsy, you are a retard," which is offensive not only to Derpy, but also to actual mentally handicapped persons. Also, Snips, Snails, Crackle, no soccer moms got mad about them? Oh yeah, and they're all boys. No gender discrimination there.
