A GTX850 will definitely do fine graphics-wise, my only concern is the Processing power with a Dual core..

I often lag a little when loading stuff (when data is being processed and stored in memory, which is typically the CPUs job)

but that usually goes away quickly.. I have an Intel I3 3240 (3.4GHz)..

Though Honestly, Star Citizen still looks REALLY good even at LOW settings xD As it still has the spectacularity and normal mapping and other stuff, so when flying around, keeping on the low will ensure your PC doesn't have to push itself when it doesn't need to
