You bring up a good point.. Though they may be opposing, they're both good and keeps me happy and entertained, and has some funny references here and there.. and in that sense they're not so different.. Yet only MLP has got me completely obsessed over it.. so there's 1 more difference xD -

Lol, i wouldn't know.. xD I don't really play fighting games like Mortal Kombat, Street fighter, etc. as i personally find those ones a bit boring to me.. I do like some other fighters though, like Smash bros. and Naruto ultimate ninja storm But if there are reverse "Z" thingies in those games then mirroring should be fine ⁿ-ⁿ Besides.. in the show, most cutie marks mirror anyway xD Also.. i think it's best if the cutie mark doesn't have the shadowing, as all marks tend to keep to the 2D look

Spent a bit of time and made a pic of how your pony would look if it were pale tan, with a red mane Did this one fairly quickly so.. yeah, it's decent but not best quality :/ Also in case you wanted to play around with your own colors while still using this model of it, here's a black bordered one so you can try some color combos out for yourself ⁿ-ⁿ

When it comes to colors there are a few color harmonies that work with a red and white cutie mark.. Might be going in to too much details, but i may as well.. If you wanted to go with a complimentary colors sceme, teal/light blue could work.. It'd also suit it considering the magic aura is electric blue If you wanted to go with a triatic color scheme you could have the coat a deep blue and the mane a shade of green.. or vice verse.. Though most characters color schemes in the show tend to keep to a monochromatic scheme (1 color, but in different shades, contrast) or an analogous scheme (3 colors next to eachother on the color wheel, again, in different shades and contrast..) I personally think it'd look good as a pale yellow or tan color, kinda like Vinly Scratch.. the mane could be maybe be a shade of red (Not too vivid) to match your mark.. or maybe light blue to match your aura? Well anyways, hope this helped ⁿ-ⁿ

Wow, that looks great ⁿ-ⁿ I'd bro hoof it, but the mobile version's bro hoof button broke.. :/ (EDIT: nvm.. must've glitched out or something.. Bro hoof for you ) Well anyways, i like it.. especially because it's Luna Btw, if you're trying new software to draw/sketch with, give "Krita" a go Greatest quality and tool variations I've seen on free software and is really easy to use.. i know because i didn't watch any tutorials or anything.. just jumped right into it xD

All that I'd like for the mobile version to have is to be able to view and reply to a friend's status updates.. rather than having to switch to PC to do it.. Not much needed but a few tweaks (On mobile now.. )

This is my current progress on a little banner thingy i plan to add in my signature once it's done (of course it will be much smaller and will be finished ) Thought I'd show my progress and see what other think of it and get feedback, good or bad It's my pony personality percentage pie.. It's basically showing how closely related my own personality is compared and divided amongst the personalities of the ponies i am similar to.. So far i have 4.. "slices".. of the pie complete.. After I've got each of the names and background things for each done, I'll list some traits under each which i relate to.. then it'll be done (Maybe in a few days if i keep this up, with me making it and being the perfectionist i tend to be (An aspect of Twilight, thus the 10%) xD) Let me know what you's think ⁿ-ⁿ ~AURA

Lol, i see.. i must've accidentally use a bit of black in the coloring layer xD EDIT: Actually.. i missed a spot in the coloring layer, so when i combined the 2, duplicated and turned it into black to put on the shadow layer.. the transparent part i missed was see through.. so the shadow was visible through the nose xD As of now i find it much easier to make just export the vector outlines, then color the rest in GIMP using a layer behind them.. I rushed this one a bit as i was exited to post it and get feedback on it, so a it's understandable I'd miss a little mistake like that.. xD Thanks for picking up on it

That's an awesome idea! i never considered the highlights to be opaque white.. Though it makes a lot of sense now that i think about it.. and being a white overlay, i can easily change the iris color and it'll still have the same effect ⁿ-ⁿ Thanks Yeah.. the nose does seem like it's missing something.. might add nostril lines or something.. or perhaps a little shine highlight? I guess the ear could use a little more fur.. I'll test out both things later though..

When i attempted to sketch my OC pony a while back i ended up making the muzzle a little too long.. But instead of scrapping it i thought it looked a little canine like.. So i decided to finish it up and got a good result out of it I named it "Fang", i was quite proud of myself as i tend to be REALLY bad at drawing.. well.. anything xD Then i adapted it with gimp using curves and ended up with a somewhat better version, but it still needed work.. and today i just spent 1 hour or so adapting it once more into Inkscape and got this near-final result (Decided to have the eyes closed this time as i need a little practice with the eyes xD) I plan to give Fang a body later.. but for now it's just the head.. and it's so cute ⁿ-ⁿ I'm thinking of keeping the ears as the soft edged MLP style.. though not too sure if it's best.. But yeah.. What you's think? Any pointers? ~AURA

Need help with eyelash layering in Inkscape

That seems like you have the eye outline layer over the eyeball layer.. which is fine, that's what most of us do, such as myself.. I'd just put the eyelashes under the eyeball layer.. So long as pressing page down twice works, it's just 1 extra key xD
