Art time at long last. :')

Why do people call threads "art dumps." Are they calling their work trash and just throwing it out? I get that not every piece has to be a masterful or good, but voluntarily referencing your own art as trash seems weird to me.

Right now i am a combination of Relieved, Happy, guilty and angry.. Relieved because i found out Grandad didn't die and he's beginning to show signs of recovery and is responding.. Happy because he's alive and i had no reason to grieve.. Guilty because i told others (including you, my friends on this site) that he was and that i was feeling sad and grieving, thus giving misinformation because I was mislead.. and missed 2 days from my course because they let me have some days of...

Am I a bad person or friend? I feel like I am.
