      Hm, I'm not 100% sure how much sense this is going to make but I'll try to explain my process. After putting down a base color for hair, I draw multiple individual "strands" of hair that are slightly off-color to the base shade. If you zoom in on one of my drawings, it is easier to make out each of these strands. As for shading, I just follow stick to standard convention.
