It's pouring rain outside. Not a storm, with lightning and thunder and stuff, just steady heavy rain. It's relaxing. We haven't had one like this in a while.

Our Little Dashie

A fanfic where a worker in a communist country finds a blue pegasus filly at his doorstep. But since there's no individual property, Dashie belongs to everyone and the story follows her gradual progress into exhaustion and emotional breakdown as the small rainbow pony is pressured to spend time with everyone.

I hope things picked up since your last status update...

Outside my window, across the street, there's a kid driving circles in a toy electric car while their parent stands back and watches, while some sort of pop country song blasts singing "take it all back, take it all back".

And I'm thinking... "it may be the quarantine, but it's nice people still find ways to do things together outside... but dear lord, can't you raise your kid on less trashy music?"
