And now I'm gone, and forgotten,
Everything inside me pushes to realize,
I never was anything but a slave
To circumstance and bad fortune.
It's time to decide.

Congratulations! May your reign be iron-fisted and brutal!

Huh. Interesting take.

Good enough for me! So, quick check - what would you be more at ease in, a} a tavern/bar/restaurant thingy, b} a random park by the riverside in Ponyville or c} a ski lodge?

Aw, sad yes, yet cute.

I found it remarkably silly.

Cybernoid. Arcades were always my weak point, though.

Try to remember how steam engines worked - or at least try to figure it out.
Also the right ratio of urine to saltpeter to make gunpowder because you gotta defend yourself.

Bioshock comes readily to mind. The gameplay was meh, the atmosphere passable at best, and the story. if one were generous enough to call it that, was predictable down to the beat. Heck, even the sequel was more engaging.
Other than that, Fallout 2. It's a perfect example of a perfunctory sequel - the story was recycled from the original {we're kicking you out to find the plot macguffin, oh there's a bigger threat that threatens everyone} and the NPC dialogue was a constant game of Guess The Pop Culture Reference. A perfect example might be the boxing agent's monologue in New Reno which I thought was actually a clever bit of self-deprecative metahumor... which turned out to be lifted neatly verbatim from an episode of X-Files. The wider world, minor gameplay improvements and companion NPC personalities were high points, but not nearly bright enough to carry the rest of the game.

I stop by Ponyville.us now and again, but I don't really contribute much.

Hey folks. I'm curious how much interest there might be in a casually social RP thread {or multiple, depending on preference} based in a static location, such as a tavern, a ski lodge, an open park, that kind of thing. There might be even be the potential for going full meta in some of them, with player-personas interacting with characters for good measure.
Any thoughts?

It looks like Smolder keeps trying to smack her wing away.

Nifty! As a little bit of feedback, the skull seems to curve inwards a little on the side, which makes it look a little odd.

It seems that someone hacked one of CDPR's servers and made off with a load of code and documents, then left a generic {if rather... pubescent} ransom note.
Their response appears to be "screw you, you're not seeing a dime".
Thoughts?

These are very nice! I can't put my finger on it, but you have a very distinctive style!

I want to tip my hat at @Blitz Boomfor starting and keeping one of the biggest roleplay threads on the site!

That is very cute!
But I do have a soft spot for fuzzy things.

It looks... interesting. A bit rough around the edges, but that's pretty much standard for any pilot episode. All and all, though, I'm surprised this hasn't been more visible, especially in the wake of other independent animation projects.

I know I'm late, but I am really hesitant on seeing the movie because I know most big screen movies from tv normally don't do the show justice so the question is, Is it really worth it based upon the love of the show? or is it better to just know of its existence?
I'd say it's worth watching. It's not revolutionary, it's mainly light adventure with worldbuilding so adjust your expectations accordingly - but all in all, it's pretty consistent with the tone of the show and about on par with the quality.

Well, I used to use these -
Unfortunately, they fell apart - they seem to have a bit of a structural design flaw and the hinges wreck the frame. They're currently waiting for a warrenty replacement {Logitech has good customer service, I'll give them that}.
So in the meantime I'm using...
It's... painful. Also literally.
{I'm also waiting for a pair of Status CB-1s, but that will be a couple of weeks}
