I will be 32 (eek!!) By 32 I will be married and hopefully me and my boyfriend will have a house. I will have a busy and satisfying career in a library system and maybe even have my Masters degree We might actually be in the process of adopting in ten years time Also hopefully i will have published some more poetry by then

The first part of the Pixar movie Up This makes me ball like a baby, it broke my heart when I first saw it and wasn't in a relationship. Me and my boyfriend tried to watch Up the other day and I couldn't make it past the first three minutes and I was just sobbing and turned it off. Especially the part when he walks into the hospital, oh gosh *tears up now*

I'm a combo of Applejack, Fluttershy, and probably Twilight Sparkle. I'm a horrible student though, but I do love to learn and good gravy I LOVE books, I am a dependable employee though and have a horrid time lying, on top of physically I am pretty strong. Fluttershy represents the fact I can be very shy and anxiety ridden at times, as well as I am pretty good with animals.

Oh my gosh yes! A fellow Read or Die fan! I had a big crush on her too, and I have a fictional character crush on Fluttershy. It has to do with their personalities for me.

Ummm *scratches head and thinks* would wanting a house be weird for my age group? (20 -23) most kids I go to class with never seem to talk about it, but i want a house Soooo bad. I love the idea of us having a place with no landlord and a big back yard for our dog and to entertain friends in. I also want all the new Nyan Cat plushies they released

I have the belief that flying for pegasus is kinda of like learning to walk like it is for a human. Some pegasus learn to fly faster than others and some pegsuses are more coordinated at flying than others, just like some humans have better hand eye coordination than others. My other theory which in retrospect is kinda of wonky is that peagsus are born with some innate instinct to fly, Scootaloo may not be able to really get off the ground, but she does use her wings when doing scooter tricks, and she instinctively moves them and tries to hover off the ground. From the episode we see the flashback of Rainbowdash and Fluttershy at flying school it can be assumed two or three things happen when pegasus reach the time to go to flight school. Also it could be very young pegasus babies are more capable at staying air borne longer because they do weigh less and aren't as conscious of implications of being high up, like older peagsus are. Same way when we are younger and learning to walk and move we aren't as conscious of the consequenses failure to do those things have (a toddler walking, versus an older child learning to swim or ride a bike) 1) Some of the pegasus fillies already live in Cloudsdale 2) Another pegasus flew them there, just like Rainbowdash carried Scootaloo in the newest episode 3) We know there are means of mass transport in Equestria, there is a train and we have seen a hot air balloon before as well, so when a pegasus filly reaches the appropriate age to to go flight school there is a means of mass transport for the fillies that don't live in Cloudsdale.

I think Rainbowdash probably sees a lot of her younger self in Scootaloo and it also influenced her decision to mentor her. Scootaloo is bold and likes stunts and adrenline like things just like Rainbowdash does and looks up to her which Scootaloo makes clear. Rainbowdash isn't known for her soft spot, but she defintely has one, she just guards it very close. I have a younger sister, and I voulnteered a lot at her school while I was still living at home, I got to know a lot of her friends and when they need advice they will ask my sister to ask me. I don't know this kids super well, but I do know they look up to me and think I am "cool" because I always made an effort to be involved in my sister's life, something their older siblings don't do as much of. If one of them came to me with a problem or wanted help learning something I would do my best to teach them or help them. I think Rainbowdash sees it the same way.

I wear glasses, I actually am due for my annual exam and I think my prescription needs to be tweaked some Turns out my left eye has needed a prescription for quite some time, and due to going without it the strain my right eye went under for trying to correct the vision of my left eye has now caused it to need a prescription I discovered this when I transferred to the university I am doing my bacholer's degree at and all of a sudden I had to hold my textbook pretty far out to even make sense of the words on the page and to not be struck with nausea and headaches. Turns out I am far sighted but even my ability to see far off is a hindered without my glasses, things are not nearly as clear without my glasses on, especially close up. I haven't really considered contacts, I am curious about them though just as a way to change things up. I also have to ask myself if on my wedding day i want to wear glasses or contacts.

I enjoy makeup I don't wear makeup all the time nor do I feel like I have to but I love playing around with makeup and wearing it out and about. I most often wear makeup on the weekends and about 50% of the time during the week. The best tip I have is a good foundation as a base to even out the skin tone, also google google google! I am pretty limited on makeup knowledge as well but there are lots of makeup tutorials on youtube and I found the easiest first step is to find out what colors work best with your hair color and skin tone, that way you know which colors to buy and which ones to stay away from

Well you can argue with the mounds of studies done by linguists and psychologists. yes some people are gifted with an ability to learn languages quickly and easily and can even learn to mimic the regionalisms and accents but it is not that common and takes years and years of study. As for language trees and languages being related yes that is also a fact, I couldn't expand on language families outside of the languages that share a common ancestry with Indo-European. I am not saying it is true in every case, but if languages are branched together generally they share enough common traits it makes learning the language related to yours much easier because there is a point of contact and reference for that language to connect with thus making it an easier to become fluent in such a language. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indo-European_languages

Yep Yep and Yep! This makes my linguist heart soar in happiness! English is extremely hard to learn due to our number of irregulars and crazy rule breakers Exposure at a young age is also super important, when you are young you are still acquiring language accquistion and you can easily take on mulitple languages with no damage to any of the languages being learn. Studies have shown by the age of 3 a child has the syntax of their language down with almost no error and by ages 5-7 we have complete and perfect knowledge of our language and it's grammar (by grammar I don't mean periods and colons I mean the actual way a person's language works and is used, such as plurals and how sentences fit together) Another big thing that affects how a language is learned is how closely related a language is to another. English speakers would have an easier time learning German than Japanese because English is related to German in the language family tree. A Spanish speaker would have an easier time learning French because those languages are closely related on the language tree

Nope not the first place. I adore the show and everyone knew by the time I got done watching the first season, which I did all in one day while i was sick at home. I don't obsessively talk about it but people know i enjoy the show

When my dad borrows money from me and never returns it. When my mom tells me to act like a lady, not curse or drink and to have more more feminine like behaviors. Also how my mom likes to butt into my relationship and always make jokes about me moving back home. And how she thinks she is going to get to plan my wedding when the time comes :S I do love them dearly though and for all their annoyances there are just as many good traits

I prefer my job over school sometimes. I always excel in a work enviroment because I always take a lot of pride in my work, regardless of what the work is. I really enjoy my current job for the most part, the part where I smell like a dog, express anal glands, listen to nonstop barking and occasionally come close to getting bitten I really don't like. But I do enjoy working with dogs and getting to build relationships with customers and that my job takes a level of skill and training most part time jobs for college students don't have. Also the awesome discounts on stuff for my own dog is pretty bad ass I really do look foreword though to moving from a job to a career hopefully sometime soon. :S

Sounds like a spectacular month AfroPony and all those Mlp pics are fantastic This month I will be surviving finals and the very busy seasonal influx the grooming salon I work for has right before the holidays. @__@ This month is kinda of wonky and really stressful, my boyfriend is in a temp position and based on how be performs on a very big task he could go permanent at this job, as well as I am hoping for an interview at a library. So we won't be having a big Christmas eve like usual since we both have to work it but we will be going to my parent's house for a small dinner and gift opening and I will be making lots of homemade candy for all our friends as presents this year Me and my boyfriend also celebrate Yule and will be having a small dinner and celebration with a friend of mine from my former coven. We will feast on a spectacular dinner and then say blessings for the beginning of the solar year and the return of the god to the goddess. I am particularly thankful for my amazing boyfriend, friends and family. They are what make my life so full and rich. Lol I don't do new years resolutions but I guess if I had to say one it would be to continue working on being more positive and not letting my emotions run wild with me

Graduating college this summer is a big motivation for me right now. I am so ready to be done with the commute and the papers. I am ready to have my life in one direction. I also am looking forword to getting engaged sometime next year. What always keeps me motivated is looking forword to every new day as an opportunity to learn something new and spend with the people I love and enjoy keeping company with, and also my precious hound dog
