I cannot tell you enough of how much I am happy that you made it safely. It is overwhelming. For the dinner, -" Just as she was about the continue about the food items available, the stress of the protest out-crying outside of the venue made her forget. So she continued, "follow me to the catering, and I will show you the available food items. It's quite diverse." Big Mac nods and moves to follow, looking around at the strange images around him. They were a little unsettling… kind of like Veiled’s eyes. But, unique, like her eyes again. They soon found themselves at the table spread with no new incidents. Seems some security showed up to dampen the crowd further. Comet Tail, on 05 Mar 2016 - 02:00 AM, said: In response to her silence, I pause, deeply regretting what I'd said about the bear. My mind starts racing over things I could say, should say, what else could I say? I've already given something of a small speech on this. I'd carefully built a house of cards, then in the blink of an eye, knocked it all down. I absolutely can't let this go unredeemed. I absolutely have to do something! But what? "Welp, bed time! No sense in prolonging it, big day tomorrow!" She heads to bed. I bite my lip - something - something - what? - whhaaat? "Twilight!" I call, almost a full three seconds after her declaration. I hope it wasn't too much of a bark - though it sounded kinda snappy. But there certainly wasn't any anger in it, just, yelled in the sort of way you'd yell if you were suddenly surprised by something, or scared by something suddenly popping up. - If she stops, She pauses a moment, and in that moment you are suddenly at her side. Saying weird, but cute things to try and make her feel a bit better. And then you hug her! The blush slowly spread across her face as she plays with her mane a bit, slightly embarrassed. But, for the attempt, she rewards you with a small kiss on your cheek and a brief hug, looking back at you. Then she mumbles, “T-thanks Comet. Get some sleep. We’ll, uhh… it’ll be a long day tomorrow.” Gloomfury, on 05 Mar 2016 - 10:24 AM, said: @@Octavia's Bow, "Thank ya kindly." She said, taking off the other hat and putting her back on. "It was my da's before he past. So it's very important to me. I always wear it when I train and when I walk into a ring. I place it on the turnbuckle of my corner so it'll seem like he's always there cheering me on. Anyway. May I have your name miss...?" She nods and turns to her mannequins, “I’m Rarity darling.” She straightens up her things, “I run this boutique, and another.” She straightens them up a bit. “Now, I suppose the question is, what can I do for a boxer. Did you perhaps want a new robe, darling? They can be quite fashionable.” Count Paradox, on 07 Mar 2016 - 12:39 AM, said: @@Octavia's Bow, @@Comet Tail, Paradox nods excitedly. "No, no, I don't mind at all if Vinyl tags along!" 'At least it should give me a chance to get some sweet revenge on her for apparently setting me up and not helping me. At least I got my date with Octavia set, though.' He thought. "So, would it be beneficial for me to just hang here with you guys, or should I just head home and get ready so you can keep an eye on Vinyl's friend while he uses your piano?" Octavia looks over at her piano and purses her lips. Without a word, she grabs a grey beanie and a red scarf, wraps it around her neck twice, then takes his arm. “If I stay, I will glare him down. However, he seems to like Vinyl, which means eventually, I will know where he lives. Shall we away?” She shoots another pointed glare at her piano. Skylord Nexus, on 06 Mar 2016 - 07:15 AM, said: "Ticktock it is, then, pard'ner." AJ replies with a tilt of her hat. When you mention "two as well at the same time...", RD's face droops and pales as though someone had poured white paint on her head. But when you say, "more spice than you can," her attitude changes. The sheer amount of dread in her face would lead you to think she were being compelled to a gallows, but her iron determination to prove herself makes her seem like one of those war heroes that would go down in history saying she only regretted she didn't have a second life to give for her country. But even heroes often flinch in the final minute, and she looked about as eager to accept the challenge as to have a noose placed on her neck - heavens' knows the peppers have about the same effect, albeit involving a lot more fire, brimstone, and just about everything else involved. Her ears flopped, "Eheheh, well, uhm - " Her facade of bravery is holding up about as well as a house of cards in a hurricane. "Crescent rolls, STAT!" Pinkie zaps into the kitchen, leaving the swing door flapping in her wake, distracting RD for a brief moment. She turns back to you - "You're on!" "Now hold on, there, both'a you," AJ interrupts, "I don't think that's right fair 'till Ticktock's tried one to challenge'em with two, Rainbow. Ya don't bump it up in these contests until the second pony's copied the first pony." "You know what? AJ's got a point." All of the paleness and anxiety seems to wash off RD as if AJ had just thrown a bucket of water over her. Are her eyes still wet from the peppers, or did they just get a little wetter from almost crying with relief at not having to accept the challenge? Rainbow takes another drink from the milkshake. You don't know if you've ever seen a pony so happy to drink a milkshake. A continuous stream of loud clanging noises comes from the kitchen as Pinkie begins throwing together some crescent roll dough. AJ then turns to you - "So Ticktock'ere has gotta eat one a'fore he can rightly be made to eat two." She gives you a friendly smile to make it clear that she's not upset, so much as explaining the rules. She then takes a few steps towards Rainbow, positioning herself so that while she's facing you, RD can't see her mouth, and then whispers, "You'll thank me for this after you've had one, sugercube. I'm honestly worried what'd happen to somepony if they ate two... Please don't." That is why you must always try, because you will always fail, but it is not really over until you stop trying, and you'll only get more and more, the more you give..." She leans forward, smiling as a bit more of a lighthearted attitude comes over her, "There are ponies who would consider that 'the mood,' to read from books so heavy as to make the moon feel like a paperweight. No matter how odd it may seem," her giddiness is replaced with a more calm, and deeper happiness, "-it is most wonderous to see two ponies, so different from everypony else, find like company with each other." It was actually really cute how she responded, quite the opposite from what she had expected. In her mind, she had imagined she was already send half way to the moon because Twilight had ordered Celestia to do so. She let out a small breath as a huge weight had left her shoulders. Not that was completely gone of course. She still needed to how the rest of it would turn out. ''You know you look really cute stammering and blushing. I mean, at least you're not as bad as me.'' she said with an embarrassed smile while she rubbed the beck of her neck. Then realization suddenly hit her. ''Oh uh... Totally forget. I suppose introducing myself was something I should have done first.'' she said with a soft smile. ''My name is Trivy. Trivia Hecta.'' she said as she made a small bow. ''I'm pretty much new here in Ponyville so I don't suppose you know a good place to go for a-a first d-date?'' she said, still having trouble saying those last few words. Twilight perks up instantly, “Uhuh! One second.” She bounces to a shelf and pulls out a very, very thick guide to Equestria’s places, that you are beginning to suspect are outdated. She suggests a few things, but most of the options are pretty similar and very rustic. But I get the feeling that if we go on some kind of adventure on the moon, you'll probably be the one saving me," I chuckle. Looking at the teddy bear and its impaled injury, I look back at her and comment with a smirk; "Well, you've saved me from missing the stop at the station and lots of heavy baggage, but I'm a little concerned seeing as you didn't save this teddy bear from a possibly mortal injury." Fortunately, I catch the implication rather quickly before I let it go; "But like I just said - it's what happens now that matters, and you did save me from the baggage and missing the stop, so even if you let Teddy get impaled in the past -" I glance at the bear, then back at her, "You've proven tonight that you wouldn't let that happen now." I shoot her an understanding, close-eyed smile as I levitate the stuffed animal over to her in an offering gesture. (All the way up until we go awol, yeah.) When you open your eyes, the bear is gone and she’s not looking at you, though you get the sense it’s not from embarrassment. After a bit, she tries her best to sound normal, “Welp, bed time! The fact that, even though she shot his idea down like other stallions before him, the fact that she was giving him another route meant that she must see something different in him than the others, right? "Uh, sure! That sounds fun! I've never actually been myself, so it'll be an interesting new experience for the both of us." He gave her a small, nervous smile. "So, uh, how about sometime this afternoon? Unless you're busy, I can go with a different date for our date." He let out a nervous chuckle, realizing how cheesy he sounded. A thought passes through her mind of asking about another mare jokingly, but decides to spare you that very brief jab. She nods, “Sure. If it’s at that time, maybe Vinyl would like to come with us. Script Dangles, on 17 Dec 2015 - 12:04 AM, said: Things had a funny way of working themselves out, sometimes. Script hadn't gone straight home. No, he had a lot that he needed to have done before seven, and the sun was already setting over the straight-line horizon, dusk encroaching into what was left of daytime. So once he'd turned away, he'd headed back into town. The next hour or so, he'd spent spinning about the immense gazebo-like structure that served as its center. He'd looked in storefront windows, at first, but when that searching frustrated him, he started to stop ponies that looked like they might be helpful. Excuse me, miss...can you tell me where I can find a florist? Pardon me, sir...I'm new here. Can you recommend a nice place to take a mare to dinner? Preferably one where maybe they play soft music by your table? Oh, and is there a river nearby? Something with maybe a bridge over the top of it? It was a lot of questions asked to a lot of strangers and Script felt terribly self-conscious about asking them. But what he had discovered, after he had finished and turned his back on Ponyville for his house, was that he'd learned a lot about his adopted home. He had learned about all the shoppes in town, learned their keeper's names, and studied their wares. He'd also discovered that the ponies here were kind and friendly and always seemed to have a moment for you – even when you asked them questions that he knew probably seemed strange and annoying. The birds were out and singing and the sun had set fire to the sky before disappearing. It wasn't Chicoltgo...but maybe it was even better, in its own charming way. There was only one way it was going to get better, he considered. And she was going to be at his house at seven. If she shows up at all, he reminded himself, opening the door to his house once he'd arrived and shutting it after himself. It wasn't like you exactly gave her a choice. He tried not to dwell on it too much. He had his flowers and he had his reservations for their dinner at a quaint little outdoor cafe. He'd planned out the route on which he'd take her afterwards, if all went well, for a nice walk under the stars. That was ever Script: The plan, written out carefully, like the plots to one of his novels. He got into his shower and cleaned himself. When he finished, combing his mane and brushing his teeth, night had claimed the day. It was almost time. He waited in his living room listening for the door. He couldn't help himself; he imagined how he'd feel if her knock never came. 7 rolls around, and nothing. 7:30, still nothing. 7:45, you begin to despair. 7:50, still no sign. At 7:59, there’s a knock on your door. His mind raced with a multitude of things he would like to take her to do; Go see a play, take her to a concert (although his musical taste might clash with hers), many things... However, he settled on something simple. "Urn... How about dinner tonight? I may not look it, but I can cook rather well. And after that, a walk under the stars?" He knew it was cliche and predictable, but he hoped she would like his idea. She thinks about it for a moment, then shakes her head no. “You’d be surprised how many other stallions try that. "Often times the best way to avoid an incident between pony kind and the dangerous creatures of the world is quite simply to leave the dangerous creatures alone and give them the space they desire. Whenever I go somewhere in which ponies and dangerous creatures meet, the first question I have to figure out is whom is trespassing on the others turf before I take any other action. Sometimes the best course of action is simply to convince the ponies in question to leave the area." "I promise you that I will not cause any needless harm to the creatures of the Everfree; I will only take action if lives are at risk either because someone stumbled into territory they do not belong in or if one of the creatures of the forest starts hunting outside of it where ponies are likely to be." He was a writer; he always carried at least a scrap of paper and a writing utensil on his person. He was rarely happier for that than he was today. "Like I said, I'm new in town," he said. In a long, elegant cursive, he wrote down the address of his modest home. He punctuated that with a simple time: 7:00pm. "I really haven't met many ponies yet. Wait a second, she's not too distraught over its damage, though, and she left it here... Hmm... So what is it doing here? Fortunately, the thoughts go by fast enough that I don't miss much of her explanation. I'm not quite sure how to respond. But, luckily, I do have an idea of the message I want to get across. "Well, I mean..." No, don't go the usual, 'well, I do it sometimes, too,' approach - this is about her, not me, so how else can I approach this?... I scan my surroundings. Unfortunately, I really can't seem to make much of an argument for 'well, it's not that bad,' because it is pretty bad... "The fact that you feel bad about it says a lot, though. A true slob wouldn't care, but you do care, and that makes all the difference. I mean, if ponies were stuck the way they were born, nopony would ever learn to talk and we'd all be crawlin' around in diapers," some levity slips into my voice describing the absurd dystopia before the gentle tone returns, "The important thing is how we change. If you would never do this to your current library, then what does it matter what happened in the past? You couldn't talk in the past, either, but you've learned to talk and a lot more than that - so it's where you are now, that matters." I finish, giving her a cheery little smile. Darn, I was pretty terrified I'd have nothing to console her with, but that went pretty darn good. I give the place another look-over. "So, would it help you feel a lot better if we got cleaning now, or should we wait until morning? I don't know if my brain is awake enough to be of much help cleaning right now... I don't know what I'd do to help." Indeed, thinking of it does nothing but drop my mind into blurry confusion... But the book lying on the floor catches my attention. Wait, no... All a lot of this would involve is some brushing up and putting books back on the shelves... I can do that! Unfortunately, I've paused for a second, so she's probably made her reply by now. If she, herself, seems to sincerely want to go to sleep, then I'll concede to that, here. But if she's merely caving into my will with a reluctant or sad; "...We can do it in the morning," then I'm going to say, "Nah, it'll help you feel better -" I pick up the book in my magic and walk with it over to the bookcase, examining the author's last name with those on the shelves, "My mind's waking up, this isn't too bad, we can just brush it up a little right now and you'll sleep a lot better..." I flash a smile at her, "We both will." If she presses cleaning the place up, though, then just replace my, "Nah, it'll help you feel better-" with a "Alrighty, then -" and continue from there. She sets her head, “Let’s do it now. There… isn’t really a spot for you to sleep otherwise.” She offers you a smile, but it’s clear this isn’t up for debate. (Before you try to tell me that you’ll sleep on the floor and it’s alright no really don’t go through the trouble I’m not that tired. ) She begins cleaning up, and the act is quick. Infact, it’s efficiency is almost like a dance of perfect, well-practiced organization techniques. It’s almost mathematical! Oh, ummm… Well, you were a little distracted. But you still have the bear! That probably goes somewhere….

He attempted to get Vinyl's attention without attracting Octavia's, but to no avail. 'Well, I guess it's time for plan B...' "Um, miss Octavia, there may be another reason why I came here... I've, uh, always admired you any time I was able to get any time with you while hanging out with Vinyl, and, well... I actually came to ask you if you would possibly go on a date with me? I know we don't know each other very well, and this is really sudden, but... Would you be willing to give me a chance?" Octavia looks back at Vinyl, who happened to look back at her with a grin. You get the feeling that Vinyl both knew way more about what was happening than she let on… … and that she totally set you up on purpose. Octavia is blushing a bit, but she nods. “Alright. What do you propose we do?” The both of you come inside, and soon after there's another knock at your door. He extended a hoof. "I'm Script," he said. "Script Dangles." He wondered if she'd hear of him, maybe read something he'd written. Normally, he wasn't the kind of pony especially preoccupied with his celebrity status, as minor as it was. He was finding this to be one of the very rare exceptions to that sentiment. He glanced back at the ponies at play for moment. "It reminds me of when I used to be their age," he mused. "I used to love horse hockey." For a moment, the beautiful mare next to him was forgotten. Script smiled at the memories. But the moment fled as quickly as it had come on. And there she was again. His nerves returned. "You're their teacher, I suppose," he said. "Ms...?" He hoped she didn't correct him. Mrs. was the last thing he wanted to hear. “Cheerilee,” she says, offering a smile. “As you guessed, I’m their teacher. In the end, slow and steady won out and he arrived at his destination. If he was being completely honest with himself he hadn't actually known what he had expected to find when the terms 'Zebra Witch' and 'Zebra Shaman' had been brought up back in Ponyville; The zebra mare that was resting beside a pond next to what could only be assumed to be her home wasn't the mental picture that he had, but she was a major improvement. Much easier on the eyes to start with. She was beautiful in a rather primal way... the kind of natural beauty that you normally had to leave pony controlled environments and head out into the much more dangerous wilds in order to find. Approaching the mare, he did his best to make it look like he wasn't checking her out as he answered "I'm not actually here to shop... at least not in the conventional sense. You see, my name is Strong Copper and I've recently moved to Ponyville because of my profession." Coming to a stop a respectful distance away from the mare and waiting for her to give her permission before he considered taking a seat next to the pond himself. He offered her a small smile as he continued "See, for lack of a better word I'm a monster hunter. I specialize in beasts and supernatural creatures that are highly dangerous and identifying them, providing information on how to handle the situation and trying to bring about the best possible outcome for all parties." "I asked around town to see who I should ask in order to get an understanding of the creatures that actually live in the Everfree and a fair few ponies pointed me in your direction. Would this be a bad time to ask you about some of the fauna that lives in the Forest with you?" He asked politely. He didn't want to bother her if she was busy after all. Her lips purse, “A hunter of monsters, you’re strong indeed. But I’ll need a promise for the answers you need. This place is a haven for all sorts of folk. The fact that her coat was colored cinnamon did not help to hide her deep blush. At least the redness of it all colored nice with her mane. But nothing could beat the absolute refinement and beauty of the purple and blue combo that was laying with her head between the books. Only thing missing were her reading glasses. She didn't wear them often, which was unfortunate because she looked so charming, adorable wearing them. Trivia took a deep breath, swallowing her pride and confidence down her throat as she stepped towards Twilight. She had prepared a whole speech on her way to the castle but it seemed her mind had abandoned her in this moment. She tried to gather the right words into her head. "Hey Twilight.'' Those were the first words that came to her. ''I know you don't know me very well and all but if you are feeling bored, not that I was listening in on your conversation, if you don't have anything important to do, I mean I can imagine being a princess keeps you occupied, but if you could, if you want... uhm.'' Her nerves shut down her mouth, she was unable to think any further. There was a small moment of silence coming from the nervous mare as she collected her thoughts. ''Would you like to hang out? You seem like a nice mare and I would like to get to know you." She said finally. She stood there, expecting the worse answer possible. Who am I kidding? She's never going to fall for somepony like me. Trivy looked at the princess, studying her face for any expression that would confirm the rejection she was expecting. “Sure! 7. Script Dangles, on 27 Oct 2015 - 09:29 AM, said: "I look terrible." Script watched the pony in the mirror frown, then sigh. He tried to toss his mop of a black mane at a jaunty angle across his head. It seemed to wilt, instead. The pony closed his eyes and for a moment, they both disappeared. It's a bad mane day, he tried to remind himself. Not the end of the world. The truth was: It was far too beautiful a day for the world to end, anyway. Through his window, the sunshine streamed inward in fine rays of brilliance. Tiny motes of dust played within the cascade of illumination, seeming to dance weightlessly to the songs of the birds perched into the boughs of the trees outside. He imagined them in a beautiful panoply of colors. In his part of Chicoltgo, where he'd lived only three days ago, all you usually saw were crows with feathers the exact color of his floppy, vexing mane. Another sigh. Then, he straightened a bit. Ponyville might as well be a million miles away from his former home. The sunshine, the birds, were enough to remind him as much. It was a new day. He was determined to make the most of it. He wove his way through his small home until he found the front door. He grabbed his bags, tossed them over the arch of his back, slipped through its frame and closed it behind him. Just outside, the birds in the tree were blue and red and green, just like he'd imagined them. They made him smile. When he'd come into town, it had been night. He hadn't left his house since. That was changing today. Today, he decided, he was going to explore Ponyville. And maybe his mane didn't look half as bad as he'd told himself it did. ____________________________________________________________________________________ In the end, he decided it was the air. It wouldn't have been easy for him to pick and choose all the differences between the two. There were just too many. So, as he walked through the wide and open streets of the small town, he focused on the single thing that struck him as being the most different between Ponyville and Chicoltgo. Back home, the lake was everpresent. You could smell it on the wind, taste it in the rain and in the snow, when the seasons were right. Here, it was different. The air seemed dryer, but not in an altogether unpleasant way. Ponyville's air was fresh and clean, like there were invisible pegasi scrubbing it when he wasn't looking, hiding behind the clouds when he turned his head in their direction. He decided it might not have been a stretch, noticing a lazy blue winged pony snoozing on a cloud in the distance. The sight of her and her long rainbow locks made him smile. He had to quit thinking of Chicoltgo as home. Ponyville was home, now. With its clean air and wide, empty streets. Nobody -- mercifully -- had recognized him, during his walk. He wondered if they even sold his book in the small town. Back ho...in Chicoltgo, it had been easy enough to be anonymous. There were so many ponies there, unless you were truly famous, you just blended into the masses. He'd wondered if it might be different, here. He had his answer. Script found himself walking along the length of a wooden fence. It bounded what looked to him like a school from the street. Beyond, it was recess. Dozens of little ponies played in the large field at the back of the small brick building. Four or five of them, he noticed had hockey sticks. They were knocking a small red ball back and forth between one another, laughing, whooping. He could feel the smile spread across his face. Script stood against the fence and watched the ponies playing. None of them were especially good. It didn't matter a whit. They were having a blast. It reminded him of when he'd been small, playing the game with his friends for the first time. There was magic in those days and just watching them brought it all back in glittering reverie in the corners of his memory. Not far from where he stood, he noticed a larger pony. The mare stood over by the building, watching over the children, just as he did. A teacher, he decided. Her coat was a gentle mauve, which verged up to a glorious pink mane, shot through with brilliant waves of lighter hue. Her tail was long and luxurious. She had the most beautiful green eyes he'd ever seen in his life. Eyes that were looking right back at him. Script's mouth suddenly went dry. He started in her direction in a casual lope. Her cutie mark was adorable: A cluster of tiny daisies with smiley-faces in their centers. She was incredible. He tried to make it seem like his heart wasn't suddenly running breakaway in his chest. He wasn't sure he was dong too good a job at it. He tried on a smile as he arrived near her, the fence intervening between the two of them. "Hey," he greeted her. "They look like they're having a good time, huh?" Instantly, felt like the biggest loser on four hooves. A writer, Script. You're a writer. And that's the best you can do?!?! Cheerilee blinks and nods, “Yes. This is a fun time for them, as it is recess. May I help you Mr. …?” She offers a warm, if somewhat cautious smile. What will you do? Octavia, one of the most beautiful mares he had seen. He had been too nervous to ever speak to her, but he finally worked up the courage, and decided that this was the day. Not only that, but he had an ace up his metaphorical sleeve, at least one that would help him in introducing himself to her: He personally knew her roommate, Vinyl Scratch. Not a very talkative pony herself, she usually told her emotions through music. But she somehow might be able to help him express his feelings. After a bit more walking, he came upon the house. He knocked on the door, hoping that Vinyl was home to assist him. The door opened a bit, and you realize something very, very quickly; Vinyl won’t be helping you. She’s in her corner and, now that the door is open, you can hear the small electronic percussion noises through her headphones… from across the room. However, a confident-looking grey mare with a bow tie and a pretty slick haircut is standing at the door. “Hello. You’re Vinyl’s friend right? She mentioned you might come by today. Would you like to come in?” Gloomfury, on 27 Oct 2015 - 12:20 PM, said: Shamrock woke up in her room that she booked at an inn in Ponyville. She got into the small town two days ago from her home in the bog city of Manehattan. The reason she was into was to do a little training camp in the country, thinking the fresh air and open spaces would help her better then the crowded city. After getting out of bed Shammy wandered into the bathroom, still half asleep, to help wake herself up with a very cold shower. After a slightly loud yelp and a few minutes later she dried herself off and got on her track suit that would help her sweat more. It was clashing dark green sweatpants along with a neon orange hoodie. That and along with her trademark brown drivers hat. She didn't much care about what she wore as long as it was comfortable. When she felt ready she head outside and began her morning run. She didn't really plan out her rout, she mostly ran aimlessly till it was time to head back and start the next part of her training. So far she's past the town hall, the castle belonging to princess Twilight, the sweet shop. She couldn't really remember the name of the place. Being on a strict diet meant he had to stay far away from sweets or her sweet tooth will start to ache. But she liked to run by it to catch a whiff or two. After that she ran past the local spa and then a clothing store that looked like it belong in Canterlot. She looked though one of the windows as she ran by it. Everything inside seemed to be well made. But she didn't really have an interest in fashion, which showed by what she was wearing. Rarity was working away at a new dress line. You can tell this because she’s exercising… a little bit of unlady-like creative frustration. By that, I mean she’s repeatedly stabbing a fabric line with an abnormally large needle. Maybe just befriend her first and then ask her out. Yes, that's a good idea. but how? By Luna! Why is this so hard?'' Trivy yelled to herself as she walked around the street. She looked up, realizing she had said it all out loud when she noticed the strange looks others were giving her. Seven days ago, Trivia had arrived at Ponyville after a long exhausting trip to nowhere in particular, just straight ahead, like always. So why stay here so long? The summer morning she had arrived into town, she had seen ponies going in and outside a gorgeous castle. She had read the sign. Castle Summer Tour. 12:30 to 15:10. Last day. Next tour: in three months. A tour, nothing for her. Yet, the mystery and the satisfied smiles of the ponies walking out had draw her in. She walked after a group of tourist unnoticed, admiring the beautiful decor. She had found her way to the library, most ponies had walked in an out in 5 minutes. Trivy, however, had her eyes locked on one of the StarSwirl's early original novels but especially the pony reading it. She had gazed at her for several minutes out of the corner of her eye before she realized she must come across as a creep. She quickly made her out the castle, heart pounding. The next day, she returned, the castle tour was over but the library section was made a public place, as the beautiful purple shimmer had decided it would be illogical not to. Days past, Trivy spend her time reading books while looking over the pages to the friendly smile of a princess. She had passed her many times through the hallways, greeted her a few times with a shy wave but nothing more. Now the day had finally come. Trivia had fueled her legs with courage, fear and adrenaline towards the castle grounds. She was finally going to ask her... or at least try to start a conversation. She walked into the tall hallway, hoofsteps echoing against the crystal walls as she made her way to the place of books, hoping she would find the young Sparkle there. You enter the library to find Twilight at on of the tables with her head between two stacks of books. When Spike asks her what’s wrong, she says, “I’m bored! I’ve already read these books 5 times.” She notices you and waves, offering a smile. She does, however, look like she’d rather do pretty much anything other than sit in a pile of books right now. Strong Copper, on 29 Oct 2015 - 06:53 AM, said: There were a surprisingly large amount of myths and legends that existed that had some connection to the Everfree Forest and the creatures that lived within its boarders, but very little in the way of what could be considered solid facts. At least, not in the traditional sense of the word. Strong Copper had learned a long time ago that if you cross referenced enough versions of the same myth or legend it was possible to get some idea of what at least some of the core facts of the legend truly were. This method had provided him with insights that had proved vital in the past, but it was by no means the greatest way to find information or even the most reliable. Sometimes the only way to get the answers you wanted was to go into the field and hope for the best. The latter was why Strong Copper was currently wandering along one of the overgrown paths of the Everfree. The hood on his hoodie was currently down in order to provide the unicorn with as wide a vision as possible, as well as call upon some of his more... aggressive spells without the risk of hindrance if it came down to it. Even if his destination in mind was relatively close to the edge of the forest, the Everfree was still a wild place with its fair share of highly dangerous creatures and it just because the journey was short and on a clearly pony made track didn't mean that it was safe. Ponyville's history of monster attacks had long been a siren's call to Strong Copper, but it was only recently that he had moved into the area in order to scout out the situation for himself. Like any good hunter, he wanted to get a good idea of what he would potentially be dealing with in the future and that required a working knowledge of what exactly lived in the Everfree Forest and some of the other wild areas around central Equestria... Sadly for the most part, local knowledge of the Everfree seemed to be limited to the knowledge that the Everfree was a wild, dangerous forest full of monsters that was best avoided. Not helpful to say the least... However, he did discover that there was a zebra mare that actually lived within the forest itself. The ponies he had talked to didn't actually know her name, but they did know the path that she exited and entered the forest from. The way Strong Copper figured it, if anypony in the area knew anything about what actually lived in the Everfree, it was going to be the mysterious zebra mare that actually lived inside of it. He didn't actually know how far in the mare in question lived, but Strong Copper stayed alert to the sounds that the forest was making all around him as he followed the path that was before him to what would hopefully be the right destination... hopefully the mare would be home. Following your intuition takes a surprising amount of time, but you do happen along a clearing with a large tree-hut. A zebra is sitting at the side of a small pool in front of that house. Quickly noticing you, she waves, “A pony emerges from the woods. Perhaps you are here to shop for goods?” A quick look through the window tells you exactly what she means: she think your here for a potion. The most friendly, relaxing, wonderful tale comes to mind, Woah, woah, am I really about to say this? Yeah, both of us are pretty relaxed right now, who doesn't like a little something soft? People putting up pretenses, that's who. I'm gonna say it! "-'Goodnight, Moon'. That's a classic." I yawn, taking note of the beautiful night outside (whatever weather it is, it's almost always beautiful outside the window in my opinion. Either the view itself is relaxing and beautiful, or the frightening weather outside makes it ever more cozy inside). I take another sip from the hot cocoa, now running low. I telekinetically set it down somewhere safe for now. "...But come to think of it, I don't really know that one off the top of my head, either, heheh" my ears flop down, slightly embarrassed at not having a single tale to tale. "I was so nervous about this mission I don't think I packed any nice winter tales. Did you, perchance? I could get it out for you. Or we could make up our own. Or just reminisce about the beautiful starry sky," I add, the stars outside the window catching my eye. "Your call. Ever had anything you wonder about out there that you'd like to reminisce about with a fellow thinker?" I yawn again, relaxing a bit more into the bench. This is going to be a very nice train ride. I'm sure if we fall asleep we'll wake up at Canterlot... Boy am I tired, though. For a brief moment, I wonder how appropriate it'd be if I wrapped my hoof around her. Then it dawns on me: We... We just kissed. We just kissed! My heart flutters. I return her leaning with my own slight lean, relaxing into her, put my hoof around her shoulders, and nuzzle in a little. [Note, you now have permission to make me fall asleep. I'd give it a 10-80% of happening depending on if Twilight does something that urges us to stay up, or something really relaxing, or decides trainride is a good time for a late-night pre-hotel nap. I'd stay awake if I'm reading her something, but might fade out if we're both tired and wax deep and relaxed about stars. Also if she's got energy that'd give me a bit more. I might just pass out if it's raining, though, heheh. I think I'm being influenced by the fact that IRL I'm in about the same situation right now, buuuuuut, it works rather well in the RP since it's implied to be rather late by now and in a train and all.] She convinces her to read to her, one of the warmer and simpler stories mind you, and leans in close. Laying against your shoulder, you quickly find that she has actually fallen asleep on you. You must make a fairly decent teddy bear, with a chocolate voice. Pretty slick for a speed demon. Soon, you also fall asleep. After what feels like a solid two seconds, you find yourself lightly shaken awake. And not on a train. In fact, you are now standing in a rather disorganized library, filled with dust. By standing, I mean you are being carried in levitation with most of your baggage. Twilight's looking a little… discouraged at the sight of her former home

After passing a few shops, he seems to have found one and opens the door, asking politely, "hello, is this a Clothing shop? I need a suit, I have a date soon tonight and I want to look good for her..." “A date, huh?” The voice was higher-pitched male voice, though it wasn’t feminine or particularly fancy. In fact, it was much more tired. “Well, sir, I can certainly help you. Do you know what kind of date you’ll be having tonight? Oh, and come in, come in. The street is not exactly… pleasant. At least not all the time.” When you come in, he closes the door behind you. You realize the store is not busy. In fact, you’re probably the only pony in it other than the sales pony. And even he doesn’t exactly seem to well on his luck. His suits take up a relatively small portion of the floor, with more plain designs, and bargain deals. “The industry has been more cut-throat and flashy as of late. I’ve always preferred the more plain and professional looks, but as you can see I’m more of an exception than a rule.” He magics a duster to dust off some of the more plainer, everyday wear that is around most of the floor. Much of it still looks nice, but would’ve sold more as professional comfortwear. Outfits that could be worked in, while still providing a bit of class. “I keep my prices low too. Even when we had business. Now, what kind of date are you planning?” Comet Tail, on 19 Jul 2015 - 6:21 PM, said: It seems as though I've suddenly discovered the key of transmutation that alchemists have sought for eons - It feels like my heart has suddenly turned to lead. "I read a lot of fiction in the past, Redwall, Warriors, some others, but then I started finding myself enjoying physics things more," I once again use my hooves, with a little bit of light magic to paint some swirls in the air, "exploring these exotic quantum worlds that make up our world, and part of the fun of astrophysics is reading about it is kind of like imagining being there - " I set my hooves back down, unintentionally doing a small, feign shiver, " - without all the radiation and need for air and all." I'm not bone dry - I love physics and science but adventures and warm hugs-" I lean a little on her with the last two words "- are some of my favorite things, too." I pause for a brief moment. "Well, reading about adventures at least. Can't say I've ever really been on one, nor would want my friends in danger. Warm hugs and winter stories in front of fireplaces are much more enjoyable than being executed by Ahuizotl." I chuckle. Funny how we enjoy fiction that wouldn't be quite as enjoyable in person, isn't it? "-Though Daring Do does make for some great adventure. I just don't know if being in her place would be quite as fun at the moment." She smiles and snuggles into you. “You would be surprised. Ponies like Daring Doo are special in that they find this life boring, and life on the road much more exciting and romantic. Also, Daring Doo works alone. With, you know, the one exception. But for the most part she works alone. That, I think, is among the most unenjoyable parts.” She hums a bit to herself and runs a hoof through her mane nervously, “I, umm… I have to admit. I’ve never done anything like this before. It’s nice.” She kisses you on the cheek and settles back into leaning on you. “How about one of those fireplace stories you were talking about?”

At her comment, he laughed, a sincere and bright sound. "My stars? Your Majesty.." He paused for a moment, thinking, and then continued. "Luna... I merely have the distinct pleasure of observing the work of a master artist on a ever-changing canvas. Every night, I look to the sky, and though I arguably spend the most time staring at it, I can't own the objects present in the sky in any way more than I may own a Van Gogh, though I daresay it's more beautiful by far." At the conclusion of his remark, his cheeks turned the faintest shade more red. At her next words, however, Wilhelm stayed quiet for a moment, and if anypony listened hard enough, they could probably hear the whirring of the veritable supercomputer in his head turning the problem over and attempting to find a response that wouldn't make him look like.. a idiot? No, that wasn't it. He was technically beyond that now. A.. a what? He sectioned off the ongoing discussion of putting words to the feeling and paused for a moment more, taking off his glasses and polishing them with a self-conscious air. Slipping them back on, he spoke, hesitantly at first, but then growing into a more self-assured tone. "My lady, I either may be worse than I've ever been or far better than I have any right to be. I'm not sure yet." At this cryptic remark, Wilhelm half-smiled and turned to the carefully-planned tableau, touching a match to the candle at the center of the blanket. The wick flared and settled to a warm blaze, lighting up the surrounding area. Over his shoulder, Wilhelm said "So, what would you like to do first? I could offer you a drink, or.. well, you choose." After some rummaging in the basket, Wilhelm came up with two thin-stemmed wineglasses and a bottle of Southern Equestrian red. She laughs, “A work drink? The thought strikes me, though, that this is perhaps the first time a pony has shown this kind of affection to me. I just barely met her, but I like what I know. I start to realize that I really have nothing I'd like to say in response to that. So instead, I get up from my spot across from her and move next to her, sitting rather close, leaning ever so slightly towards her. "I-it's okay." I finally say in response to her blushing. Then, a clear thought penetrates the clouds of mental confusion; "I like you, too. Let's get to know eachother a bit more, shall we? - We'll have plenty of time to talk about the moon mission when we're looking at it at the observatory. Soo, what do you think of a cozy evening in front of a fireplace, reading about astrophysics and sipping hot chocolate?" You are looking at the sole, surviving member. The coward who lived. I am also blind and bound to this place.” He bites his lip, “My sight was taken by the beast that killed my friends. I am bound due to my own foolish attempts at bringing them back. Technically, you are about to sign on to being my brother.” He struggles with something for a bit, then offers a grin, “But I still out-rank you.” “The second thing that may be bothersome for you will be the things you are challenged with. Your challenges will not just be huge, clunking bulks of fur. Although those will be the bulk. Your challenges will include finding a team of ponies who you can trust, but can cover eachothers weak-spots, other factions within the group… and a questionable morality.” He places a hoof on your shoulders and looks his lit, but cloudy eyes into yours, “It is very important.
