I want to share a fanfiction I am writing. I'm not sure how SafeforWork it is orwhether it breaks any forum rules. The fanfic is a Mock OC/Dark Comedy/Cringe fiction about an alicorn princess and how bad things always come her way. It's written like a biography rather than a story, and is pretty funny. It's by no means explicit, but it gets pretty crude. There are lots of deaths, all played for comedy, some toilet humour, some sexual content(no clop, just references), and some politically charged humour. Most of the humour comes from something going terribly wrong, usually at the expense of a character(including main characters), and the entire fic is designed to make you cringe(or laugh). When I put it on Fanfiction I'm rating it a T for some sexual references, violence, brief drug reference and strong crude humour. I want to give it an audience here to see whether people like it or nah.

I need feedback on my dude, Ambient Beat, cause people call him names like edgey and autistic because it's black. Which I don't get, cause AB isn't edgy. Here's the backstory: AB grew up a ladies man, getting all the mares after finishing DJ sets, until things took a turn when he had to pay child support and had to take care of many fillies and went bankrupt and had his house foreclosed, having to go on welfare and being called lazy as a result. He plans to get his life back together by working two part time jobs and has an active relationship and lives with Twilight Sparkle. He appears in the episodes, you can't see him cause he's jet black, sitting in the shadows, watching the protagonists. Even when there isnt a shady spot in the background he hides under an object that's black, he just curls up right in there(he's very flexible). Okay I'm joking, my dude's story is that he grew up near Applewood and moved to a place near the pony Seattle and makes tunes(which is my simplified life story). AB is black and has green hair and eyes, which isn't because he's edgy, it's because the character started out as the main protagonist for a ponified GTA clone and the main character was supposed to be a ponified Claude from GTA 3, but I just loved the look so I adopted it for my dude, and the game itself slowly turned into its own thing which probably won't be made cause I can't program. I need feedback to see whether my dude is complex enough or nah

Ive always dreamed of being a famous musician that would have a Wikipedia and Television Tropes page. Eventually becoming a just as big actor and activist and guest starring in MLP, having one of my songs featured in Grand Theft Auto, and becoming so rich I'll have houses in every city on the West Coast(A person can dream, right?). I need tips on how to get noticed by brony music stations, or Equestria Daily, or whether I'm being too cocky or not. Any good places to begin?

Hi. My name is Ambient Beat. I'm new here. I know it's such a painfully generic intro, but I dont know how else to announce my forum debut. I am 18. Born in New York, grew up in Fresno and LA, and I currently live in Whidbey Island, which is an island barely an hour's drive away from the much more preferable Seattle, depending on the ferry ride and the traffic. I'm an artist, writing stories with a vocabulary level of a Wikipedia article, blueprinting games I'm never going to make, making videos that are insanely cringy, and drawing pictures of my OC with bedroom eyes(because I cant draw fully open eyes). But my overall favorite hobby is music. I love music, it's all I do mostly, and it's what I base my other art off of. I study theory and genres, and I experiment with several genres, listening to even more. My favourite genres are IDM, Chillwave, New Wave(and every genre influenced off it), Old Skool Hip Hop and 80's/90's rave. Ihave two musical projects: Face for Radio, an IDM/Experimental Rock/Breakbeat/Whatever genre I'm into at the time project, and its pony themed expansion, Ambient Beat, with my OC, which is just like Face for Radio, but more pop based and pony themed. I have a couple places to hear my stuff, including two BandCamps which I cant remember the logins for(hence the reason I have two).
