So I remembered a fun thing from army, it's truly amazing what people can make when they are bored.
There was this guard position we had that was pretty much useless (it was towards our camp for Celestia sake, the point was to stop "enemy" before they arrived there, not after (it was in the last day of the "war")) so naturally there was no point actually guarding, so.... when I first had my turn, the "post" was basically a sitting place next to a big rock, and when I had my last turn, it was basically a house made from sticks, pieces of wood and spruce-sprigs, others had slowly build a shelter around it during their turns, and it was like a small house when it was "finished".

Considering the 24/7 shellfire lasting over a week, I think that any animal with better hearing than us was far gone, if there was any in the first place.

@Simply Cerberus - First is a reference to the three pigs tale - literally a house made of twigs. the second is an artform associated with sailors - usually carved ivory or wood, cut while standing watch and having nothing better to do.

, I didn't do those but I did make bad wooden knifes, and one cool wooden teeth I sadly lost
