Speechless liked the idea of laying down, but the idea of being alone was....unpleasant, he didn't know exactly why though, but he guessed it was because being with Maple was so pleasant. He took his notebook and browsed it through quickly, he didn't want to write so he had to improvise, he pointed at words from different sentences from several different pages, "I need to" "rest" "But I" "Don't want to" "be" "alone." He smiled to Maple. -

The day guard didn't chase the orcs because the rescue unit was mainly defensive and because they had pretty much only ranged offensive units. When the orcs had retreated, the captain shot a magical flare to the sky and the ballista fire stopped. After that the unit landed and the captain started commanding ponies around, most of the guards were ordered to create a defensive line to prepare for possible re-attack, and those who weren't on the said position, started collecting pony-bodies and equipment like weapons and arrows/bolts to the rest of the empty carriages to transport them back to Canterlot. Staunch was one of the ponies collecting things, he thought to himself that this had to be one of, if not the biggest loss of ponies at once in long time if not ever. -

Slumberfur acknowledged Jinx's apology, but he continued his own "I shouldn't have purposely annoyed you only because you're lazier, less skilled and more arrogant." he sounded like he really meant his apology "I just, it's been a long time since I have been able to feel superior in any way to someone." he sighed again "I know what it sounds like, but when you're kittypet in a clan, you're always inferior compared to others of your rank." -

Speechless nodded, smiling warmly and keeping the eye contact, he was confident that he would start getting better right away after he could get some rest. He also believed that even though the pain was intense, it would be easy to fall asleep since he was both mentally and physically tired. He wanted to ask Maple about her wound, but chose not to, because he knew that she would just tell that it's fine and worry about him more, just like he was worried about her more than himself. -

The guards wouldn't charge, but now also the light crossbows and normal bows started aiming for specific targets rather than raining down arrows and bolts. The guard captain had noticed Maple getting injured, but because he was responsible for keeping the barrier strong, he didn't seem to react in any way. Few bullets that got through the barrier's edges hit few of the ranged guards, but they did only mild damage, worst being a bullet in a shoulder. -

Speechless raised his wing to reply to Zephyr's goodnight wish. The thing that Speechless had been thinking to do was to kiss Maple, but he decided that it would just make everything awkward, and he wasn't even sure why he was thinking about it in the first place. When Speechless felt Maple relaxing, he gently leaned his head against her, at this point Maple would be able to feel speechless' shaking. When Maple talked about Speechless protecting her, Speechless looked at his leg before writing with his free wing, "I'll try to be more careful." His writing was now sloppier than before, he sighed and wrote more, his writing getting more sloppy "Sorry, It's hard to focus on writing." -

"I never claimed we are never rude, though it's not like you have been the nicest cat out there either." Slumberfur pointed out, "But consider that both Riverclan and Shadowclan chased me aggressively away, while Thunderclan welcomed me in without me even asking them to." "And there's even one cat who was in Shadowclan before joining us." he then looked thoughtful for a moment before sighing "I'm sorry I kept annoying you earlier...." -
*Sigh* The moment when you have a great idea for 1x1 RP, but you know from experience that others probably don't think it's that great and it would die in first week, if it even ever would start....

Otherwise I would be, but I don't have any "completely normal" OC's to use in this, since all of them are pretty much super soldiers in some form or another.
(Thanks to all of my rp's including fighting and the like).
Maybe I could tailor a completely new character for this, yeah? Someone who would be suitable for a relatively regular SoL, but I would need more info on the subject. Maybe hit me up with a PM and/or open an OOC thread?

The character can be good fighter or something like that (since combat not being a big thing), only thing is that they don't have special powers, since the point is that my character having powers is something unusual and weird.
I have't planned it all the way, but I post here what I "know". (in case you don't get interested and somebody else does)
The basic plot:
In modern day city, our characters end up meeting and interacting with each other in someway, the powers obviously kept as secret by my character, and it would pretty much focus on the relationship between the characters as more and more details of my character gets revealed to the another.
my character would be either my ponysona or fiction version of me, depending on if it's anthro or human. the powers would be elemental powers, fire, ice and electricity (from controlling to creating), and the "flaws" are..
1. he doesn't control them perfectly, only thing he can control well is the "on/off switch(s)", other things being controlled by his emotions, and music he's listening.
2. his one hand would be always ice-cold, while another would be burning-hot, (he would be wearing clothing that helps hiding it)If there's something else you want to know, ask here or send a PM

Speechless looked understanding, and he did understand the reasoning, he was sure he couldn't do it either if came to it, after all, they weren't blood thirsty vampires. For Maple's last comment, Speechless chuckled and 'hugged' Maple with his wing, while writing with the another one to the notebook that was now resting on the couch next to him. "There's lot of stupid stuff I've done too." He then looked at Maple, smiling , pondering if he should do what he was thinking to do. -

The day guard still kept doing pretty much the same thing, Staunch and other heavy crossbows now aiming for individual targets rather than generally shooting at everything. But to add to the already existing arrows, bolts an ballista fire, now also the already rescued guards, even some of the injured ones, were attacking with arrows and magic from the air. -

Speechless made a rather submissive sound, Maple was right, and it was kinda funny that Maple had to say it to him, since he had been 'saying' same to Maple earlier. He took his notebook and with the shaky writing he wrote, keeping a pause in middle of the second sentence, looking slightly sad, "Sorry for being so reckless." "When I saw the bolt sticking out, I thought it was worse." "I have never felt that much hate towards anypony."
