    So, I'm trying to get a job, but most jobs I could get need me to have a car, so I'm trying to buy my first car. The problem is, both my parents each give me totally different advice on how to do that. :worry:

      I would buy a good used car with cash and avoid financing. Car payments will suck the life out of your paycheck and new cars are expensive and depreciate in value faster. Insurance and car tag are also more expensive on brand new cars.
