Hmmm.....You see I've never played a real version of minecraft because I didnt have the money, I would get what is called a crack version for single player. But it still worked online if I had a friend with the real game. It is possible that modding everyone's would work, but then again, joining someones modded server may work also. you might have to experiment as my computer is too old for minecraft. Otherwise I could help you out using my friends account.

There are two types of modded server, one where the player joins and it's all there and the ones where the player cannot join unless they have all the required mods, the first it's the best option for large servers, if it's just you and 1 or 2 other friends than the second isn't a problem

How to do either of those I have no clue sorry :p
