Why did people have the word "anus" in their names in the ancient times?

*Mmph*...I... hehhheee~... I know what you mean, but that may have been an overly hilarious way to put it!
But seriously though, as much as I can, I suppose you mean names like... uh, Klanidius or... the sorta Grecian or old Europe way of ending names like that. Much like how -isson means they were the son of so-and-so and De of DeVinci means 'of this Town' I suppose its another way to say "of the" as a way of showing what tribe/town/family/etcetera they were from. That's how most ancient names went before last names were seemingly made up.
