    She still does manipulate others. Look at Every Little Thing She Does and Royal Problem. It irritates me to no end when people act as if Starlight is the only one who gets off scott free without being punished. Look at Discord, he messes up and causes mischief ALL THE TIME and get's easily forgiven every time.

    That's a pretty fair point. Starlight feels more realistic because she still has remnants of her old self. Sunset's whole personality changed too fast. Editing my original post now.

    I actually love both Starlight and Sunset equally. - Both add a great new perspective to the MLP franchise as a whole. - Both are extremely interesting to watch whenever they are the focus. - This made seeing them meet in "Mirror Magic" MUCH more satisfying. However, there are a few things that I feel was better about one than the other. - Starlight was a much better villain than Sunset. - Starlight had a better backstory than Sunset. (Yeah, I know Starlight's backstory was rushed and not that good, but it was still more in depth than "Sunset was Celestia's former student" and only having it brought up a few times throughout the series.) - Starlight's reformation scene was better. (Twilight had to talk her down and show her what she was doing was wrong instead of just blasting her with a rainbow like with Sunset.) -Starlight still has remnants of her old self and didn't do a complete 180 right away. However... - Sunset interacts with the Remane 5 more. - Sunset actually works WITH the Mane 6, rather than saving the day by herself or with a bunch of secondary characters.

    So it looks like the map of Equestria has been updated again to include places they'll presumably explore in the MLP movie. I have to wonder though. WIll we see these places in S8 too? For that matter, what about all of the unexplored locations that were already on the map? Will we finally see them in S7 and beyond?

    It just feels like they used to be loving and accepting of everyone until this election went down and then they started making polarizing comments about entire groups of people. I get that they don't like Trump or other politicians, but it hurts feeling like they would think I'm racist because i support someone that they disagree with. Josh Haber literally retweeted "proof" that all Trump supporters are Racist because they had a "fear of diversity."

    I know that feeling of getting too heated and going too far. Even though we're on 2 different sides of that debate, I too have a dark side when it comes to politics. To that end, I can somewhat understand where Tara and the others are coming from.

    There was time when i would browse the twitter pages of everyone involved with this show when I'm feeling down or just feeling bored. These days however, all I see is Anti- Trump rhetoric and tweets about how are country is doomed. Now, before i get a bunch of replies telling me that they're entitled to their views, let me say that I don't mind that they don't have a same political views as me. What I don't like is when they are extremely volatile about it and they tweet and retweet things about how Trump and his supporters are all racist Nazis or say other terrible things. This breaks my heart because these are people that I respect and look up to more than anything and they say they're kind, loving people, but their tweets make me feel otherwise. MLP is one of the main things I turn to when I'm depressed, so when I see the voices of my favorite characters like compare all gun rights supporters to the Orlando shooter or basically call all supporters of a political party evil, it partially makes me feel like they've gone from Love, Tolerance and Acceptance to Divisiveness. Sometimes I worry that all of this will prevent me from seeing some of the show staff the same way anymore.

    I could see Season 8-10 being a post movie/wrapping up/conclusion era. I'm hoping that Starlight will finally find her place in the main cast and said era will show Starlight defending Equestria ALONGSIDE the Mane Six, instead of either overshadowing them or being overshadowed herself.

    Saw Equestria girls and Rainbow Rocks in theaters with my family and it was fine. I was even decked out in pony gear for RR. Not sure if I'll be able to watch it Day 1 or not, but I'll definitely be seeing it within the first week. Hell, it might be the first movie i watch multiple times in theaters in YEARS.

    I think 9-10 would be pretty cool. contrary to popular belief, I am wholeheartedly confident that DHX can keep up the quality that long and still end it on a high note. After all, we're on Season 7 and its still nowhere near seasonal rot.

    Am I the only one who still wants to see Starlight become the "Mane Seventh" rather than seeing her form her own cast of characters?

    This would probably make me lose my mind. It would be fine just for a 2 minute short, but 22 minutes is far too long.

    Gonna be predictable here. MMDW for Dash and even more so for the other 5. As a bonus, I would say that "What About Discord?" Is easily the worst characterization for Discord.

    Couldn't be more excited over the prospect of best human meeting best pony. I just feel like this is too much for 22 minutes.
