Figuring out what to do in life after you've reached your goal is a really powerful topic. - I really sympathize with Applebloom here, being bored, lonely and depressed with nothing to do while your friends are having the time of their lives is something I can relate to all too well. - We finally get the first song of Season 6 and it's definitely a touching one, I Don't think we've started with a sad song before. - Incoming shipfics for Applebloom and Tender Taps. - I like the lesson here. Even the best of friends don't need to do EVERYTHING together. Plus, splitting up from time to time will help them find more ponies to help! So, that was the first CMC episode after they obtained thier marks. I rather enjoyed this one, Honestly, this may have been my favorite episode of S6 so far. P.S. This was the first ever episode without any of the Mane six. P.P.S. Zecora's hut looked GORGEOUS in this ep.

Princess Book Horse's reaction: SUPER LATE EDITION!!!! - How sweet, we've never had a Pinkie and Rarity episode. - Also, I love that Rarity's business continues to grow. I always knew that if she got a 3rd boutique,it would be in Manehattin. I hope we get to see it in another episode after its opened. - Maud's love for her sister is amazing. She even scared a shady businesspony half to death to get Pinkie's party cannon back. - Did anypony see Suri Polomare in the background? Overall, it was great, it was good to get our first taste of S6 outside of the premier. It was also good to see more of Pinkie and Rarity after they, (along with AJ, Rainbow dash and Fluttershy) took a bit of a side role in the premier. (Rather short reaction this week, I'll have a longer one next time.)

Starlight Glimmer is Twilight's only student. Twilight left Sunset Shimmer at CHS to learn about friendship by becoming friends with the Mane 5. Meawhile, Twilight literally took Starlight up as a student and she's giving her lessons and letting Starlight live her. Sunset only looks to Twi for advice, it's totally different.

SEASON SIX IS HERE!!!! - Starlights first task: Finding her way around Twilight's castle. - Real talk: I think it's great that Starlight is living with Twilight and Spike. They're further hinting at Starlight being a full-fledged main character. (Which means my prediction was correct!) - Josh Haber as story editor? YES!! I loved his work on Friendship Games and the S5 finale. - That story telling vase looks amazing, it's a nice alternative to using a book to explain the crystalling. - Twilight and Starlight stalking the CMC while they help a pony figure out what makes them special? That would be interesting. #I'dTotallyWatchIt - Also, I love how they showed Spike flexing his muscles in front of a mirror. It's a nice callback to Party of One. - Silly AppleJack, Flurry Heart can't fit in that cradle, her wings are too big. - Gee Shining Armor, you seem a bit.......... off. Did you do something with your mane? - It's nice to see that the crystal ponies still regard spike as a famous hero. - Does this mean Celestia and Luna weren't born as Alicorns? Or do they simply mean that equestria has never seen the birth of an Alicorn because the sisters pre-date Equestria? - Is Sunburst really an important wizard? I'm not a psychic, but I think he's hiding something. - The baby shattered the crystal heart!! Welp..... Does anypony have some super glue? - Good luck busting THOSE clouds Rainbow dash. - Meanwhile, Spike is practicing his scroll wrangling skills. - Wow! Princess Celestia is actually doing something!! - Tough crowd. They're kind of acting like Manehattin ponies. - Twlight, if there was ever a good time to protect a book, now would be that time. - Starlight tells Sunburst about what she did during S5 and all he cares about is the fact that she mastered time travel..... lol. - So Sunburst knows a lot of spells, but he can't actually perform them. - "Best Crystalling ever!" - Twlight and Shining's parents finally spoke!! *crosses that off my bingo sheet.* - Starlight went back with the mane 6 instead of staying with Sunburst. This even further hints at her overall importance to the show. Overall, it was great. It's truly beautiful to see how far Twilight has come, going from Celestia's student to having a pupil of her own. I also particularly loved Starlight's writing and Spike's writing too! Just like in the S5 finale, they handled him perfectly. See y'all next week, for another glorious S6 episode!

Woohoo!! Now I have 3 weeks to finish my latest MLP marathon, (I'm only on "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000.") CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!!!

It can't be a new villain that we haven't seen yet because this is the present, not the future. In other words, every alternate reality was about one of the past villains/antagonists succeeding thanks to the Mane 6 not being friends, so how could a villain that they've never seen before have succeeded at doing what they've never even tried to do?

You dont even have to bring your cousins as not letting you in because you're an adult would be illegal. Though, you should totally bring them just for the sake of seeing it with them.

I don't get why everypony keeps on saying that it's too late to add another main character, tons of other shows do it all the time. Personally, I love the "Mane 7" idea, it keeps things fresh and it says "buck you" to the status quo, which is always nice. I think it would be pointless if they made a big deal about her redemption just to make her only show up in 2-3 episodes in Season 6. I'd would love to see her in most episodes, or even just half of them next season.

My former best friend was the one who introduced me to the show, but we stopped being friends. My personal mission is to find Brony friends before the show ends. I'm going to Bronycon next year, so wish me luck!

It is time everypony. Time for yet another season of this truly magical show to come to a close. It's been a fun season, so let's send it off with a bang. -Twilight giving a speech on magic and OMG! MOONDANCER RETURNS!! - Spike just humiliated himself in front of everypony. - Hey, who do we have here? Starlight? #NopeChuckTesta #SorryNotSorry - I Sense a Shrek 4 type of story coming on. - A race between fillies when all of a sudden, A WILD STARLIGHT GLIMMER APPEARS!! #StrangerDanger - Ponyville in the first alternate timeline kinda reminds me of a little of how Halloween town from Nightmare Before Christmas looks in the daytime. - I love the Applejack in this timeline, she's just so blunt and direct in the way she talks. - Holy Celestia, it's King Sombra!! - What is this? War? Real, actual war with Ponies legitimately trying to kill each other in a family show? Number of times Season 5 has gotten dark: 675. - I swear, Spike falls to his death at least 4 times in this finale. Then again, so does Twilight, but she has wings. - Twilight's next plan is to tell a child that she's from the future and bug her for a race to have her perform a rainboom... #StrangerDanger #INeedAnAdult TO BE CONTINUED... - Now we have a war against the Changelings. - I have to say, Zecora is on point in this episode. - This whole forest scene reminds me of Star Wars, but it also reminds me a bit of the Tia Dalma scenes in Pirates of Caribbean. - Holy Celestia, it's Queen Chrysalis! - This is the first time we've heard her name in the show. - After using so much magic during this finale, Twilight is too tired to even fend off Timberwolves. It kind of works in the same way chakra does in Naruto. - Holy Celestia, it's - okay, this is getting old. - I think Nightmare Moon looks even cooler each time we see her. - Twilight: I never give up, that's my shinobi w- (No? We're not using that one?) - Next, we get another scene fight scene with Twilight being a badass, that's 2 finales in a row! - Now, we get a short glimpse of alternative timelines for Discord, Tirek and even FLIM and FLAM! (That's hilarious.) - Twlight takes Starlight to this creepy wasteland timeline and we FINALLY hear Starlight's backstory! - Sunburst is cute. - When Twlight finally gets tired of fighting, she does what she does best: A LECTURE! - When they finally get back, Starlight is redeemed and we get to close another beautiful season with a song. Overall, this was a perfect way to end off Season 5 and we're left with one burning question: Will Starlight actually become the newest member of the group? Or will we only see her about 3 times next season like Discord? Either way, we won't know until Season 6 airs next year. Now, it's time for the fandom to take over for about a year while we wait.

OMG, WHERE DO I START?! Okay, first of all, I'd like to congratulate AKR on this episode. It was a glorious way to the finish off her time with the series. I'd also like to congratulate Daniel Ingram and Lena hall for thier amazing work on the songs. Without further ado: - Pinkie Pie: Countess Coloratura AJ! COUNTESS COLORATURA!!!!! AJ: Uhh.... Gesundhiet. - I can't be the only one who feels Frozen vibes when RaRa sings. - Am I the only one who actually enjoyed "The Spectacle?" - Seeing the CMC with thier new cutie marks never gets old! - Did anypony else see that mini Sweetie Belle around 10:17? - At last, the song they've been teasing since October 2014 is shown fully animated for the first time and as you'd expect, it doesn't disappoint. If I could cry, I would right about now. - Which pony used magic to lift the triangle at the end? It looked like Sweetie's magic. This is it ponies. Season 5 has been a truly amazing season, but only the 2-part finale remains. I'll see you all there.

We went from an episode refrencing a Bill Murray movie to an episode refrencing a real life 19th century feud in west virginia. I dig it - Furry friends book club? SO CUTE!!! - I've never seen a projection of the cutie mark come off the pony's flank and head to the castle before. Must be because Fluttershy would take too long to lave her cottage. - BOOK HORSE AT HER FINEST!!!!! - We finally get to see the Smokey Mountains! - Ma Hooffield is my favorite new character in this episode. - God, I sure hope the McColts don't leave the fandom after they find out about Twilicorn. - "Well, if you ain't fer us, yer agin' us" - Hey, food is food. Even if the Hooffields threw it at you. - I love the spell Twilight used to make her voice louder, it reminded me of Harry Potter. - A Trojan apogoly cake! LOL! - THE ANIMALS! Won't somepony please think of the animals!?!?!?!? - Everypony has been called by the map! What happens next? #ToBeContinuedYesIKnowI'mCorneySueMe

"This is heavy Doc." So, it's been 2 weeks (for me,) since a new episode aired. Time to react. - How does a Princess lock herself inside for 3 straight days? Didn't anypony come to her for anything during that time period? - Good job syncronizing your words and movements Rainbow and Discord. You two should form a traveling circus act. - Hmm, I don't think I've ever seen anypony donate books to Twilight before. Well, other than Princess Celestia. - OMG! DAT DISCORD-JACK FACE!! - Bob Ross reference! XD - Nice to see Spike return to his S1 personality a bit. - Marty MCPie and Doctor Emmet Discord! - Yeah Pinkie, time travel is bad and OH MY CELESTIA! It's another Starlight cameo! - I-Is that.... Zecora? Do I see Zecora in a somewhat major speaking role for the first time in 34 episodes? I DO! - Isn't it a bit out of character for Rarity to intentionally spill potion juice all over a beautiful castle floor? Maybe there was a trash can near her. That's my head cannon. - Twilight feels left out. THE FEELS! - I'm glad they were still able to laugh together at the end, despite the fact that Discord kinda caused all this. - Also, I'm glad Discord did this to teach Twilight a lesson, rather than to be mischievous. Overrall, enjoyable episode. The moral was: "Sometmes, you don't understand something unless you're there and no amount of recreating will make you figure it out."
