My profile is red, white & blue. Respect.

America took the colors from England's Union Jack when we created our flag. The Union Jack is a combination of the Flags of Ireland, Scotland, and England, all of whose colors I believe were chosen based on the French flag, although I couldn't find any specific info on that. You can find the Red in my blood, the White in my bones, and the Blue in my veins, but that does not make me an American, it makes me human.
