And not exactly the best or most helpful either in regards to developing your inner peace and moving on from what ails you :/ Why not try tell yourselves the opposite of what you both said and list some reasons why this opposite is true? I'm pretty sure if my girlfriend that suffers from tons of mental and physical conditions alike as well as money worries can be positive about her life and the good of people every...

...every day and find reason to keep on fighting, you can too

Also, depends on what you mean by pointless- personally I think life has meaning if you can bring happiness even to one person, and I've had a very fulfilling life thus far that I have thought that way

@furn i would love to believe the world is full of joy and stuff, but simply that is not true. Take a look around. I don't believe it is okay to tell someone who is suicidal basically just get over it. There is reasons people have different outlooks on life. I for one love death and such i find it romantic.
