You're not the only one to question that. But sometimes purpose isn't set in stone, it changes as time goes by, and it can be defined however you personally choose. The quest is equally as important as the destination, my friend. 

I think I'm biased in this category because I'm a very religious person, and that gives me a strong sense of purpose.
