It's a huge problem since everyone's at home with nothing to do. Having these things cancelled means that people are more bored, and might be more tempted to not follow the social distancing, so might lead to a further spread of disease.
Shoot, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones; I'm a software developer for a living, so I can do my job from home. As a matter of fact, I'm just logging into it right now.
