Is it weird that, after studying and just generally appreciating dinosaurs a bit that today's predators seem utterly not scary in comparison?

Like, I get it, a bear would still be terrifying, but when you compare them to the massive carnivores like a tyrannosaurus...they don't seem all that tough anymore.

  Maybe, but I'm not sure we would be worth attacking for a beast that huge. Yeah, it might still attack one of us every once in a while, but bigger prey means bigger payoff, so it would probably go after something bigger if it was given the opportunity. We would just be appetizers, really.

  That's what I read (that humans would be too small, and also that they're not enough meat for their size anyhow), maybe a bear would be on the menu.
