  1. She listened and watched it was still very interesting for her tosee how it worked and all that went into it's making and usage but with her explaining on how it worked it would be quite clear this would be one of those more unique inventions that couldn't really be expanded on past such a state, at least from what she could tell from the information being given to her. The idea was very impressive however which made her smile. "It is a wonderful invention you must be proud of this thing, I know I would be in your place at least." She stated as she continued to watch the mare float around a bit more and do some thing bobbing.
  2. "How... delightful..." As she watched her take off with that right around her, how it worked was rather interesting, it needed magic to function so was restricted to unicorns and it wasn't means of flight persay but simply a way to turn off gravity, still a marvellous invention. She was very keenly watching how it worked. "How... much power is it taking for you to use that ring?" She asked as she watched her kick off the wall changing her direction of floating essentially. Her questions seemed serious as she was thinking of various uses of such an object but she had a massive smile on her face seeing such an item in use, it was marvellous.
  3. Quill had an interest in most of the ponies she met, the reasons for the interest were something else entirely, some of them were nothing but some information on legs, and worst were just those she saw as meals. However this mare was nothing so low, she was interested in her mind to make such a thing, something she'd never seen in her entire long life. "By all means, lead the way." She invited her to lead them outside to wherever she sow pleased to show off this thing. She wanted to see how this device helped her fly, she had a thousand questions in her head and wanted to see how it worked. She too got up and went to follow her out of the library and to see this device in action, pray it wasn't just a bold claim, something she made up and was boasting about. She very much so hoped it was real, to meet a mind so brilent as to invent a flying machine, a personal one at that would be a wonderous occasion for sure.
  4. She listened to the mare as she looked at the item as it was brought closer along with the rest of her for her to look at and it caught her attention as she took in the details. "You've made a device that can give flight to those who are not of the pegasus race?" There were more than pegasus who could fly but it was a common enough term to use when it came to matters of flight within pony circles at least. Her eyes were on the thing like it was a meal she wished to gobble up. Perhaps one other thing also caught her eye only for a moment due to her not knowing this mare was her throat, only for the shortest of moments her eyes flicked to and then from that back to the item around her she was looking at. The movement was so quick it was quite possible that Collapse would of never have seen it or thought it a trick of her own eyes. "I would be very... interested in seeing how this worked." She almost purred out the last of the words she spoke.
  5. "I am here to learn." She smiles. "I suppose you could consider me a scholar, as simple as that." As she continued that happy, genuine smile, her bearing was of grace, age and wisdom if that could be summed up in how one stood, she carried herself like the commanded the room and little else was as important as she was perhaps. Though that makes seem quite a vane pony. "But I have all the time in the world to seek such things in books, they're not going anywhere." As she cast a hoof towards the shelves. "You, however, interest me more." As she lent in a little more. "More so, what is around your midriff, if I may be so bold as to ask about such a device?" She guessed it didn't look like something one would just wear for the fun or looks of it alone.
  6. She wasn't expecting her to be this friendly as to make room for her and scoot over so they could speak and then go about introducing herself before she herself could do too much more than give her a smile and sat down. Nevertheless she took her hoof in her own and gave it a gentle shake for her, which she had practiced to give off that it was something normal, she had enough power in her single leg to toss this poor mare around like a ragdoll, it should of felt normal to Collapse. "Pleasure to meet you, Collapse." As she took her hoof back so she was back to standing again and gave her a bow. "I am Quill." As she gave her a smile again before she stood back up and then sat back down. She was still old fashioned in some regards and that was one of them in terms of how she greeted others, it was from an older time when ponies were far more formal but this mare was a product of the time and Quill didn't have any issues with times changing and those who lived in them following along.
  7. Quill had chosen to travel to the Empire after all that had occurred with its return roughly and by mere coincidence at the same time as that of Collapse for even similar goals. She was seeking information from the tombs, scrolls and books of the libraries of that of the Empire that may be old knowledge lost to time or that of new information that the crystal ponies had simply discored on their own and either had not shared or not had the time to. She thought it might of more tbeen the later due to how the Empire vanished in the first place as she had information of how that had occurred. She's found one of the better hotels in the city to take up residence in once she'd had arrived in the city. It'd not been too hard to get a good rate when she'd stated she wished to stay for an extended time and money wasn't really an issue due to her prestigious age and having done all the leg work quite a while ago to make so many investments that she mostly if not entirely funded her life from payouts and interest. As fate would have it, Quill was in the same build and section as the sunshine yellow mare who was reading a book in one of the rows of books. She saw her and her eye was drawn to the 'disc' around her middle which was of interest and she was going to simply go and ask about it. She knew many things Quill, this disk was new and she knew most ponies were quite open to direct questions. "Hello, Miss." She stated softly for the correct audio of the library as she walked up to her wanting to gain her attention.
  8. Heavens, no pressure doing these chunky questions at all, let me see... *Cracks knuckles*. Q: What kind of RPs do you like? Oh, that's a good one, isn't it? I think a better way to answer this question is to ask what I don't like? Personally at least which I suppose is the question heh... I like everything, I've done just about everything in my *Looks at calendar* (it's been 8 years?!) time here on MLPFourms and online in general when it comes to RP too in more private adventures. So I'd say what I don't like is mostly the darker side of things, horror is the main genre I'd like to stay away from, I love the idea of the cute innocence of the world of Equestria and I want to keep it that way, so anything that isn't dark I do genuinely enjoy when I dip my toe (even a hoof) into the various genres of RP that there is out there. Q: What preference OCs do you have? *Looks at others' answeres to this question to see what it's on about...* Mmm... Well, it would seem it would be talking about preferences when it comes to who I play? Well, if it's like that I have none, I've done most things from having fun as a little filly doing silly things at school to my ponysona Mentis doing rather standard adult stuff like going to work and playing video games, I mostly have girls in my collection so to speak, but that doesn't stop me from swapping around like crazy and having a ton of fun to boot when I do! Q: What do you not like in RP? See question one on that dear reader, covers the question. Q: What is your RP experience and how long have you roleplayed for? Before I started here for the forums I had dabbled a little inside of D&D and a bit in terms of RPing online in video games like Garry's Mod RP servers but this was never anything too crazy so I'd say let's add another year and we'll come to nine < (that scares me it's been that long). Q: What do you look for in potential RP partners? In how long I've been going at this here and elsewhere on the internets for me personally it's mostly two to three things; The person in question can write to a decent enough degree, it doesn't have to be more than a full sentence or even that at times, sometimes short replies are perfect for what is occurring but the ability to add grammar and write to a decent standard is something I tend to look for. Next would be for the ability for some to commit to whatever story I'm writing with them, this is harder to gauge obviously but it's something I seek. I've had a few RP partners who I've been doing things with on the daily for more than half a decade at this point and it's wonderful still a thing I look for. Last but not least is some creativity on some scale, throw a curve ball in here, steer the plot a way here and that'll keep me happy to the cows come home. Q: Tell us about yourself. It can banythingng; hobbies, interests. Eh, life is life for me. I Roleplay like an addict, I like playing games, socializing with my friends, playing magic the gathering and playing Age of Sigmar currently. Things come and go, but this is what I mostly enjoy doing on my own time when I'm not at work. Q: If you could be the best in the world at something, what would it be? That's such a broad question I almost can't think of what I want, there are many things I'd love to be good at. To be the best at as the question asks. Making others truly happy would be a wonderful thing for me, if I had to pick only one thing. Q: How would you describe yourself? As interesting as a boiled potato, there is a reason I like to get lost in a world protend ponies and hang out online, but I'd say I have a decent sense ohumouror and I'm understanding and like to make others happy, I think that is all y need to be happy and I like being happy. *Looks around* We're done? Sweet, hopefully you enjoyed the read, I know it hurt my wrists to write this much in one go haha.
  9. Looks around... Been here a rather long time stranger, to answer your question as far as I'm aware the answer is a no. Artwork has never been a requirement for creating someone, or something. I've always found that so long as you have a decent written description of the pony or other creature you wish to play that is more than sufficient.
  10. Has it really been 10 years? Damn where the heck as the time gone, I remember making my first posts here so long ago in '15 I can't believe I've been here for what is that 6 years? The people who make the site is amazing I hope for another 10 to come. Wouldn't that just be amazing spanding two generations of magic?
  11. I've had the pleasure of meeting a few people @TheRockARoosterfrom near me and a ton of people in the last BC in 19. @Denim&Venöm I bunked with a a ton of others I can't even recall all the user names.
  12. I don't want to... this is just making things awkward, I don't want to get blood on my suit. @Randimaxis you always know what to do with this stuff right?
  13. I was quite fortunate to purchase the 4th edition of Fallout Equestria at the last Bronycon this year and I've finally gotten around to reading it. I'm a slow reader and I'm only up to chapter 3 currently but hot damn it is an amazing read! I can see why people love this fan series, I'm in love with it too. Just something I wanted to share.

  15. Attending the final BronyCon was something special, not being one of many firsts, first trip on my own, first time to the USA, second convention, first pony thing, meeting a load of people... it was amazing I met some many people and it. I will try and tag almost everyone but if I miss people don't hate me I'm not totally amazing past midnight... @Denim&Venom Knowing you for 3 years and finally meeting and rooming with you was a blast, we got on like a house on fire with no issues despite someone having apprehensions about rooming together... hehe, it was great to meet you my dude and chill at the Con together. Meeting so many of the people on staff was awesome I remember being so... terrified of most of the staff when I first got here and then over time as I got my hoof into the pudding that stupid idea went away. @Randimaxis You sir are a legend and it was an honour to meet you, and I've never seen anyone floor ice tea like you good sir! @Dark Horse Hey remember giving me that warning like 2 years ago? I don't know why I remember thinking of that just now, but it was amazing to meet the Irish pone & of course @clocksin (don't know why I can't tag ya) You are a awesome dude and you and DH are lovely together. @Jeric & @Troblems you two were always together it was nice to enjoy your company when I bumped into the pair of you and the cool things you talked about was lovely. @PathfinderCS loved the mu-stash my man and you were also very cool to chill with. @Snow My dude it was a pleasure to chill with someone else from the Great Southern Land and have a good joke and the expensive of everyone else at times and have a bloody good laugh with. @Dark Qiviut you were such a keep Con goer and it was cool to be around you such a keen air rubbed off on everyone around you! Last but by no means least @Jedishy I never did find you during the Con and it bugged me... but thanks for the free things on the last DAY!! I wish I attended other years, but damn I'm glad I managed to get go to the last and I loved the whole thing and I wish there was more... but alas... It was damn well fun!
  16. until

Even I will make my travels to BC all the way from the land of kangaroos and drop bears.
  17. Now I know you're not suppoed to ask this question of a lady, but it still nags me even to this day. Pray tell how old are you Princess?
  18. @Denim&Venom "Well considering that I didn't even contribute to this mess I very much don't intend on cleaning it up, also by the way your exercise is dumb and thanks for not even trying to answer my question and just giving me a verbal pat on the head..." Kat was even more in a foul mood than before and saw no point in even coming to this class again, she firmly believed that everyone in this room was possibly a bit more stupid than when they started this class. She walked over to the door to leave but second guessed herself feeling bad for her classmates who had this crap to deal with and decided to turn around and help them clean up, but then she was out. She had no interest in what this weird fox wanted nor did she think this class should be even a thing considering she nearly destroyed a section of the building as she came into the classroom! Like who even does that and doesn't get fired?
  19. @Denim&Venom The Sabertooth wasn't even in the middle of the food fight, she was next to their teacher in or behind the little protected box not having picked a side as of yet as the food wars had started in the rest of the room. Kat looked around the room then back to her teacher, who she was odd? No, not really odd at this stage losing a degree of faith in. "Wait... wait, you give us a reactions test, that I sorta get. The tank going the walls of a building! Not so much... now you want us to what? Have a food fight in this room for what purpose? I want to understand the reasoning behind us throwing condiments at one another on the other side of this line." She didn't feel very inclined at all to undertake this request or task perhaps would understanding the reasoning behind the endeavour the goal they were attempting to reach." Not that she would be overly against having a bit of fun and just throwing stuff around and at some of her fellow classmates just for the simple fun of being silly and acting like a kid, but she needed to be told. Or at least have in explained to her personally as to the reason of what the fox wanted them to do, until then she didn't feel like playing ball, or in this case throwing anything at anyone or anything.
  20. I mean there is clearly no competition here, simply Changeling Kingdom FTW.
  21. @Denim&Venom "Well... why am I not surprised?" When she watched a freaking TANK drive into the room, she did freak out a little of course like the rest of the class at the onset of it. I mean who wouldn't do so in their place, the students of course. She looked past the tank, or well tried to look past it to look at the structure, she was more concerned that the building would collapse on them, or try to. Not really gonna happen considering that herself being an Earth-bender plus whomever else in the room might be one as well would probably fix the building or stop it from falling on them at least. Nevertheless, she didn't give it a huge thought, if the teacher thought this was a safe enough idea then so be it she shrugged and the fact there was a tank in the room and started on the little quiz put out by her most "favourite" teacher... Her answers for the quiz whereas followed: She set down her completed quiz on her desk ready for Miko to collect it when everyone else was done and she was to collect them, then went back to reading up on an article on her phone as she waited.
  22. Since the earthquake, or magic-induced one... or whatever it was, not exactly like Kat knew what caused it. She'd returned back to her dorm and had retrieved her bag and and gotten a few other minor things and had attended her first class (off-screen) And was heading to her second when she noticed some earth magic being used in the hall to knock a teacher over? "Well that's something new, never get bored here." As she watched the little scene and then the parties depart. She got out her timetable to see what class she had next, just like last year when she first started and back when she was a younger girl she was terrible at learning her new time table. Something about them just took a long time to click in her head for some reason she'd never been able to figure out. She looked at the sheet of paper trying to make sense of what she was looking at. "Non ce n'est pas un vendredi?... non, c'est lundi semaine ou c'était 3, j'ai entendu quelqu'un dire que non c'est idiot." (No it's not a Friday? no, it's Monday week 1 or was it 3, I heard someone say that no that's silly.) Her finger was drawing along the setup lines as she looked for what she was to attend next hopefully not with Miko... she honestly didn't want to see her again possible ever frankly.
  23. @Denim&Venom I believe we started: February 13, 2016 with about 65000 responses between our two chats. ...and 2600 odd pages
