    My sweet Luna this is a good question! Why did I not look at this earlier, (note to self read things) without Cannon answers to really the length of any event nor a pony's life span there are limitless possibilities. I would assume if this question was raised then the answer would be that of they have human like life times. But until then what the answer I love it a huge hole right in front of us what is the answer to it? I'm gonna follow this thread and make a vid on it when I return from my holidays. Thanks to Vulcan for the Idea. You good sir shall get a mention for such a great idea! (if you don't mind) Man this is why I signed up to these forums to find questions like this and work on the answer!

    this question is really going to get most to answer either there fav ponies/others or Pinkie. (that was a kinda somber). My answer would be every pony as all of them and the show on general cheer me up if i'm down doesn't really matter who. I'd say as my choice however, would be Celestia... hmm yeah Celestia and Luna.

    I Love the new map it gives me hope that some of the naysayers that think MLP FIM is coming to a close, may be wrong. Although some of them make good points. But with this new map why do it if MLP has only a season or two left I hope this is a answer to the question of how long MLP got left and that it has a way to go hopefully

    lore wise, i can consider your statements have merrett. However J. Pony & Asbel lhant are correct we won't see this in the series due to it's target audience so, lore wise I can see it but not when it comes to Cannon.

    I'm going to also say no, however you make a convincing argument, but only under extreme circumstances would it (law wise) occur and for the show probably no, however it is a great idea and i love it.

    I'm going along the lines of what others have said and it would be something more to represent her personality than a talent and/or job. (and we must all remember) that Derpy was only ever picked up due to an animation error so her cutie mark may well just be a stock one, that was on her when she was first made and it's stuck now due to our love for Derpy so... ...bubbles yay?...

    I for one see the points of view of everyone, most make sense (to me). I however want it to continue as long as it is good after that don't beat the dead horse, so long as the horse as a few more years to go (no pun intended).

    he needs a goal or job to do, this i believe would keep him the same as a character as people seem to like. However a job or goal would then give him more purpose so that hopefully it would make both sides happy

    Even if applejack's parents are no longer with us. She has a huge family anyway and considering how high spirited she is I don't think she would mind. It would be great to see the mane 6's famies and parents.

    For what I could consider the seventh mane 6th he dose have to much neglect as a character and needs more done in regards to his story line even if I don't love him as a character he still needs the development.

    I know what you mean I have no of vision the endgame, but some gut feeling tells me that S5 is the halfway point (roughly)

    so long as we continue, there is so much going on right now that people/ponies think that just because the CMC finally got their cutie marks that it's and "end is nigh" thing. One thing is sure as long as MLP FIM is still popular which it is, they will keep milking this cow, which means more seasons for us. Personally i think that S5 seems like a halfway point so my guess is we still got 4-5 seasons to go and I hope i'm right!
