Books oughta be fine though. I have alot of second-hand books & they can take a beating. Lest someone take the effort to pull it out of its packaging just to purposefully rip pages out like a feral beast, ya oughtta be good. Worst book damage I've seen is pages falling out with old age. Hmm, wonder how that's fixed?

Though, these days seems the Post Office insures just about every package & letter they do. *shrug* I trust 'em anyhow!

Books are so cheap on Amazon, especially used, older books. I like physical copies, and very rarely have I gotten something damaged. The money you save online versus at a store is worth it. Plus Amazon has return methods. I used to deliver for FedEx and I will say that it all comes down to the individual driver. Don't let 1 experience be an indication of everyone.
