    Cat scratched the dog's eye. It already scratched their face's so it was inevitable my mom's cat would hit something of value given enough attempts. I already said she should get it declawed, but she doesn't like my 'negativity'.

      Declawing involves removing the first toe bone in each toe of the paw. It's extremely painful, and is extensively cruel.

      In that case she should've ditched the cat. But how is it painful, wouldn't there be painkillers?

      And what crueler, that or letting the dogs slowly get injured.
