Biggest problem with Star Vs is mostly the villains early on r just, complete shit lol. And Star learning random stuff about humans and thinking odd about it is neat at first, but later it gets old, so I am glad they changed it to character development.

And season 2 has more drama

I hear Adventure Time gets pretty deep & emotional later on. Like, drama, betrayal, alternate timelines, love triangles and all that, but I just couldn't grasp the early stuff. They'll take their time for weird imagery & even crack wise about it, but they never do explain it. Just we're in a land of snack-food-people now, the dog is a shapeshifter now, there's a living rainbow now.... there's a limit to how much you throw at people.
