  1. Reading books decreases aggression and reduces stress. It reduces crime, and helps prevent insomnia before bed.

People get angrier with less brain function usually, it can be diet related, poor sleep, no exercise, too much alcohol or caffeine, a drug side effect, etc.

Also, hating bullies is pretty normal. This is why I offer the reading books(or even fanfics) idea. It is probably your primary source of stress.

Also objectively life might have no value, but I think, objectively, life is less frequent than non-life, so its pretty basic to say life is more rare and thus superior. If you think the world is bad watch some of this. Also watch comedy, its really good to cope with insomnia and stress in my experience.

Also boredom is a primary factor in breaking the law, acting up, etc. So if you have good hobbies, you could probably handle the bullies a little better.

Also bullies pick on people they learn won't fight back or speak up. Because they are cowards, because they are bullied from their immediate family. If you stand up for yourself it may get worse before it gets better, but it will teach them to find a different target. Unless they enjoy your resistance, or the price of standing up for yourself is too high.

Also the depression n stuff I used to get from just watching anime, not exercising, laying around in bed all day, staying up too late. Fix that stuff, and you will feel better.

  2. good post littlepip.there are also good visualization tips over at hypnoponies if you go to the weekly workshop there! visualization is an important skill! thank you for sharing this :)

I am Brain at HP but I haven't been there much lately, can't stand Discord client. I have some journal entries over there with theorizing n such.

  3. The best way to improve math skills is to study text books and do the problems.

This is more a visualization thing, and some people can't do math in their head in the first place, its a good place to start. But you are correct pretty much.

But this involves more stimuli it helps the brain cross-reference more scenarios and primes the mind more thoroughly.

Like, how studies show that students recall information easiest in a classroom scenario, this would help diversify when math is used, which means retaining the skills longer because they get used more. Also visualization is similar to story-telling, which could cause other subconscious effects, which is half why I chose to go about it this way, also because its more engaging, who wants to do math, people get blocked, thats the brain rebelling at such a droning activity. This method is not droning.

Another thing, is I wanted this to improve brain processing power, not math. Which is more fluid intelligence, not crystalized intelligence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluid_and_crystallized_intelligence

Which is why the priming stuff matters more.

  4. What would season 7 need to make you change your mind about it?

People assuming its going to be bad, I mean if you grow out of it thats fine, but assuming its bad because the series isn't young and fresh is a little iffy. Also, was there a season without bad episodes? I think people are just getting tired of the show, it doesn't feel new, thus the tropes are more predictable, its less novel, people move on.

But, what if season 6 was the first season of the show, or season 5, would people think its bad then? Idk.

Anyways, Star Vs the Forces of Evil Season 3 is gonna be great this summer.

  5. If you need validation from others in order to feel good, then when you are alone you will feel pain. Buddhism has a metaphorical philosophy. Suffering is caused from desire, and Nirvana can only be had with internal peace from the self, not from beyond the self.

The idea is you can always be disappointing if you need anything more than yourself, thus it causes pain. So to avoid all pain, one simply needs no desires.

But I criticize that too because, its very anti-progressive and anti-curiosity. Its a type of running away.

So I think the optimal belief set in this context would be to have goals, but don't expect them to happen, and work towards them. Have curiosity, but don't depend on curiosity. Have friendship, but don't require friendship.

So you can be fine alone, fine with others, etc. Its all good.

Most others do not think changing their mind in this precise of a manner is possible. It'd take some reminding tho, because old habits die hard.

Then I could try to psychoanalyze you from what I do know of you(which aint too much) but that'd be rude.

  6. Basically what you did, making arguments for your case without any evidence, in response to a debunk.

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/apologetics

    Definition of apologetics
    1. 1:  systematic argumentative discourse (see 1discourse 3a) in defense (as of a doctrine)

    2. 2:  a branch of theology devoted to the defense of the divine origin and authority of Christianity

  7. Hmm. How do you disprove the Bible? I believe the people who heaven or hell or whatever are just bored people you want attention. They didn't see anything. Where does it say you has curly hair and bronze skin

Disprove it by refuting claims. Like they assume the earth is flat, where else did all the flood water go? Off the edge of the earth, that was their 'obvious' logic. Which is easily debunked, unless you are a flat earther.

http://www.rejectionofpascalswager.net/math.htmlMath errors in bible is another debunk method, also the epic of gilgamesh is an older story than noah's ark and highly similar, it is thought they plagiarized it, which makes sense since epic of gilgamesh is also unoriginal. Its the third in a line of copy-cats, the fourth being noah's ark.

https://www.reference.com/world-view/part-bible-states-skin-bronze-hair-wool-c92815ca6521236eabout the skin, I guess I misrecalled the hair bit, but it still says its white and not brown. Eyes like fire? He was an albino apparently lol.

  8. Wow. That's a lot to read. I didn't bother. I'm pretty sure you don't care. You need help. Really badly. A pity I don't know how. How can you prove heaven doesn't exist I'm very interested.

I can only disprove the bible, which leads me to thinking heaven doesn't exist because the logic for that dimension does not hold up, the foundation being incorrect, why should I consider any concept beyond that which requires that is correct?

Also NDEs, where people see god or heaven or hell then speak of it after they almost died, it differs based on culture. If you are only hindu, you will have a hindu near death experience, etc.

So, I cannot believe it, not because I cannot find evidence against it (the same could be said of invisible aliens or any number of other things), but because there is a lack of evidence suggesting it is true besides rhetoric from a book disproven time and again, in fact its so disproven, that people who are christian often reject the old testament because it disagrees with their emotional logic, then try n say jesus dismissed it, when he actually advocated for it,

Then again people think Jesus is white when it says he has curly hair and bronze skin, so who cares what they think.

  9. Wow. That's a lot to read. I didn't bother. I'm pretty sure you don't care. You need help. Really badly. A pity I don't know how. How can you prove heaven doesn't exist I'm very interested.

You remind me of myself. Or what I would become if I hadn't had help. I do still like some brutality though.

    Lol.

My psych issues are behind me, when I say sad and that it was related to diet I was correct, I feel better now.

So i think you are assuming/projecting a little.

You should've seen me at my worst lol.

  10. Also yes, it takes the pony form sometimes, also other forms, but lately more pony than not.

Also can make itself taste/feel liek bubblegum, yogurt, cotton candy, playdough, silly putty.

I mean, I just wanna combine multiple OCs into the character, like, for convenience's sake. So I don't need to be fickle and swap around too much, I can just be me, as OC, and whatever the hell I want.

If I had to fit into mlp lore more, well, I guess half draconequus half changeling might be it, but EW chitin is terrible for neurons, if you want chitin congrats on halving your brain size! xD Thats why cephalopod skin.

  11. Also I mention my OC but vaguely so I will specify here.

A shapeshifter. Because I change the preferred form too often, I figure making them ashapeshifter was the way to go, it also can explain whatever abilities I happen to be into etc. Plus I played [prototype] and stuff so, shapeshifter it is.

I wanted to optimize the brain, sorta shapeshifter. Like, constantly changing color n texture, constantly doing magic, has magical soul brain extensions for more brain power and memory, has skin like a cephalopod because they are very sensitive and thats relevant for neurons, advanced senses cuz more brain processing power and efficiency would be required, tentacles for similar reasons, but I dont always feel like having tentacles, sometimes them being floppy is cute n fun, other times its like, a hassle to work with.

Can see infrared(heat) ultraviolet etc etc.

Then I am also entertaining the idea of cyborg/transhumanism transformations. Because magic, tech, and biology combined would be more optimal surely.

But tech feels, less alive, I mean you can make it living if you really wanted to so it combines complexities of all systems. So it'd be pseudo-technology, and still bio-magical.

Then also, mechanical brain extensions makes more sense than magical ones, and the magical ones would be more volatile, and then ya know, psychological dependence and withdrawal whenever you magic gets dispelled would be a hassle lol.

  12. You want fame? Could you handle it? What would you enjoy about it? How would your life change?

What would you have to do to get there? How much work would you have to do, how much art would you have to do that you want to do, compared to whats popular?

    Is it worth it?

If it is, get on all the social media, and youtube, and be active, and keep producing. And learn to not get down from hate mail or death threats. Learn to handle criticism, especially constructive criticism. And do what you know works, even if others disagree, but make sure it does work and isn't some sort of confirmation bias produced from hopeful thinking.

Also, check out how far other artists got with mlp, and take into account the times it happened at. It died down some.

And is that the life you would enjoy, then go for it.

If you want meaningful and popular art, your style has to be presented well, like translated into that demographic, to try to be true to yourself, and popular.

Grains of salt, and give or take.

  13. When I have the time to meditate or lucid dream I almost always revert back to undisciplined thoughts. Unless I have a clear logical goal, like meditate on a high working memory image. Smoke has alot of particles, but the brain would more readily summarize it as a certain patterned almost singular object.  So thats one difficulty of trying high cpu processes. Particles are high cpu because of many many velocities being organized at once.

  14. I have a good friend, who always was good with plans. Nice place, nice games, cartoons, etc. Even ping pong, and would get into whatever you wanted to do.

Fell out of contact, he never set up plans- we had to call him, and fam sorta literally got cancer and insane, so I felt ashamed, embarrassed, stressed, etc. I lost faith, etc. I just couldn't handle recontacting him. Looking back on it, those were good times, it'd be fun to do again. I'm not gonna call him tho. He has a job, might even be married, idk, he still lives in the same spot. And between then and now, mlp happened. And I am a semi-reluctant semi-closet brony. So like, if he is into ponies, since theres a probability of that. That'd be weird, especially when my brother would not have a clue about it. Plus, my brother is sane, but a little weird and predictable. He would get into the brony thing if I tried indoctrinating him lol. But thing is sometimes he just doesn't know when to be quiet. Then again thats prolly my insecurities overstepping, he is prolly fine, I am prolly the problem here. But I am definitely more rational.

Etc etc, I haven't been over to a friends house in ages, and in all my life I have prolly only gone to friends houses like 12 times. Not counting my cousin's, idk if that counts. Stopped hanging with him briefly too, cuz he has work, and other social responsibilities.

So thats where I am at, and I was sorta in a forever alone sorta deal binge watching anime during college while fam was literally losing their minds, of course I dropped him.

But if it means being a little awkward, its prolly worth it to hang out again. Another thing, his place is spotless, and we have shedding dogs and everything, I would look slightly like a hobo. But its w/e.
