I came across a YT channel of an artist that I find really interesting. She works with mediums I really want to work with (ink lineart + ink wash, or watercolor + gouache), once I learn the basics (duh), and her style is rather unique too,

I was thinking about selling my car, because I'll have to commute by a bus to my new work (city center, no parking slots etc). Under the condition of selling her for as much a she's worth, which of course doesn't match with market prices.

And to think I wanted to keep her to the end, and when she's too old to be safe to drive, take her on one last trip we both wouldn't come back from... Talk about loving your first car, I guess.

In the late hours of last night, I finished the first playthrough of NieR:Automata. And even though the first ending is easily the most optimistic, it still feels so sad... I'm not sure whether I actually want to keep playing to finish the whole game, since it revolves around and, quite frankly, revels in, tragedy.

Summer house, 2 AM. Just woke up cause something's flying in my room. A huge moth? Gotta check. I raise my head to look and get face slapped. By a bat. Indoors.

I mean, come on! I've encountered a few in my career as "family Steve Irwin", even held in my hands as I took a sleeping one to the shed, out of the house, but, seriously? Since when I live in Australia or something?

There's an Overwatch free weekend going on, and, I rather like the game. Basically TF2 with more MOBA mechanics in it. And after 3 hours of play I haven't seen a single death treat on chat, so that's a bonus...

Still not sold on the idea of buying it (pun intended) though. Mercy and Sombra are the only ones I have a decent grasp on, and they aren't very vesatile. Widowmaker plays decently but I'm a horrible sniper so, waste of a hero in my hands.

Try not to heroically raise your hand and start shouting "Onward!" to the song. I dare ya.

Watching videos like this one makes me acutely realise just how big of a pen and ink noob I am... Still, I find it inspiring and sometimes I am able to pick up something and try to incoroprate it in my own drawings.
