Coroavirus is definitely a threat and a serious problem to go through, but all the panic over it is absurd. Why wasn't there this much panic during the Ebola outbreak? Or during the SARs outbreak? Both are much more deadly and don't even initially present much differently... I guess it's just because it's more infectious? Or it's because it's being made out to be more than it is?
While of course, what's likely the real cause of this is hushed. That part should be more frigbtening... You know, the idea that China may have released a bio-weapon onto the world...

The average incubation period for SARS was 4-6 days, while the average incubation period for SARS 2: Electric Boogaloo is around two weeks. Furthermore, this virus can spread asymptomatically, allowing for people to infect others before they even know they had it. The virus has infected more people in Iran than SARS did the entire world because of how difficult it is to contain. Far more have died from this virus than SARS because of the rapid and difficult to contain nature of the virus. Factoring this in, while SARS and Ebola may have higher fatality probabilities, overall I would say this one is far, FAR deadlier.

I feel like a dick about laughing at Joe Biden now because it seems like he might be in the early stages of dementia for real. I know, Trump fucks up when speaking sometimes, but with Joe its seems like its every time he speaks. I used to help out around the nursing home that my granddad spent his final days in, and I've seen a lot of it. This looks kinda like that.

@Yoshi89 The thing that made me think it might be dementia the most was the "Obiden-Bama Democrat" comment. Mixing up words almost like dyslexia is a big sign that one's brain might be slipping. After that, if you look closely occasionally he will get this confused look for just a second like he doen't know what's going on. I'm not a mental health expert so I can't say for sure. Maybe this is some quirky thing about him that we never noticed cause we were always focused on President Obama. But it makes me think that he needs to be examined, and actually makes me worry for the dude. Having your brain quit before your body is a real type of existential horror imo. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I have to disagree m8. While I agree with your assessment of Warren, she has framed herself as a progressive this whole time. There are quite a few people who consider themselves progressives that, like many other voters, find someone they like and then immediately put up their blinders. The fact of the matter is that the "progressive" Warren took those TV watcher votes that otherwise would have gone to Bernie. I am absolutely inclined to say that most people lack common sense.
The main reason that I agree with you on your assessment of Warren is that if she really wanted a progressive to beat Trump, she would have immediately seen the coordinated effort by the DNC and other moderates to pump Biden, and would have dropped so as not to split the vote with Bernie. This was a foreseeable result.
