I guess you were happy when Lost Treasure of Griffonstone came out

Twilight: I'm smart, book obsessed and sometimes a little too nerdy. Rainbow Dash: I love winning and racing-I run track and I like that sort of stuff Applejack: I love apple crisp, apple pie, apple flavored candy apple flavored desserts and more xD Rarity: I love fashion and creating things! I'm really crafty and artsy x) Fluttershy: I love animals, and I'm incredibly shy but can burst out in unexpected anger Pinkie Pie: I'm crazy, bounce around when everybody else walks or runs, love baking desserts, making desserts and most of all PLANNING PARTIES AND GIFTS FOR MY FRIENDS! Pretty ironic since Pinkie Pie is one of my least disliked ponies out of the Mane Six-but I just realized I'm actually most like her.

First of all, the pacing was held very well throughout the episode-until the last five minutes, where what was supposed to be a very important event in the show turned out incredibly rushed. However, the character development was excellent, and what stood out to me most was Diamond Tiara's solo in the middle of the episode. I usually do not enjoy songs in episodes, excluding the EQG series. But this song was absolutely great! It is obvious that the writers put lots of work in creating a perfect solo for Diamond Tiara.

I think the highlight of the Friendship Games was the excellent animation. The best thing I noticed was the work they put into it. Next was the music-memorable (though not as enjoyable as that of Rainbow Rocks) and the character development was nice. However, there are so many things I was disappointed with after finishing the movie. While the pacing was good, there are much too many characters for one to remember, and many plot holes are left unexplained. Another complaint I have is that while Twilight is very smart, she doesn't seem to understand the very obvious dangers of wearing that magic-absorbing device around her neck everywhere she goes, which she should definitely know about by the third time an incident happened with it. It's so obvious that it's only for the sake of holding the plot together, although I can't blame them, with the ongoing production of the episodes.

It was definitely a step up from Equestria Girls. In my opinion, the movies are getting better and better. While Equestria Girls sort of sucked, Rainbow Rocks' music was more memorable, and Friendship Games' animation was excellent, with a good plot.
