  1. Wow, she's really cute   Me like flower ponies!

Her color pallet is really good, too... that's not very helpful, is it? I really don't know how I could help you improve her. She already looks beautiful. I love the green in her eyes/cutie mark and that shade of red is great. The gray seems a little desaturated, but it doesn't look bad.

The mane and tail design are very simplistic, and it looks a character that would be on the show. I'm not a fan of overcomplicated styles, and I think it looks good.

Are you planning on giving her a backstory and personality? I'd like to know more about this pony!  :squee:

  2. Return of Harmony or Lesson Zero. While not my favorite episodes, my top 3 being Twilight's Kingdom, Crusaders of the Lost Mark and Magical Mystery Cure, these unlike my favorites can be watched in any order without major confusion, plus they give an idea of what to expect in the show (Return of Harmony being more story focused and Lesson Zero being more slice of life/comedy focused).

I think that Luna Eclipsed fits into this trope, but you need to watch at least the first two episodes to understand what's going on.

I recommend watching the pilot after watching one of these episodes, and begin watching the episodes in the proper order.

    I hope that helps  :P

  3. I as well,

but I consider it like training wheels...no that doesn't sound cool enough...

they're like training chain saws and I felt the poster might want to start from there :)

Ok, I understand now. That's a pretty good advice.

  4. Best way to start (especially if you have no prior knowledge),

    In my opinion,

Start with a base, pick a pony position from multiple one's available online,

    >you may search google images for words like sleepy pony base, excited pony base etc.

If your OC has some accessories, specif hair, clothing etc. have references on your screen as you draw

    >same as above, google images is your friend.

Using a pencil draw the base as best you can doesn't have to be perfect it's your first time

    >If you really can't draw it then print it using a fairly thin bondpaper then draw trace from the back of it.

Add the accesories , hair , etc,

    >This one solely depends on your creativity and drawing capabilities so I can't help you much there, remember to use the references , they're very helpful.

Eeh, I have a strong disliking for bases, but whatever.

  5. Friendship is Witchcraft - Most of the jokes are unfunny and run into the ground ("talk about eye candy" wasn't funny the first 50 times I heard it), the characters are one-dimensional, the humor is overall comparable to the average episode of Johnny Test or modern Family Guy, etc.

Fluffle Puff - It was funny until it became milked and just became a "Chrysalis x Fluffle Puff" fanfic.

YES. Why does everybody love FiW? It has such a lazy writing and the VAs are okay at best. The only good thing about the series is the songs, and even then they're average compared to a lot of underrated fan songs.

The Fluffle Puff videos are... meh.

I actually love Cupcakes a lot. Not because it's OMG MURDER PONIES THAT'S AWESOME like most fans of the fic think, but because it's well written (in my opinion). I don't know why when people make fan art of the fanfic they draw Pinkamena and not Pinkie Pie.

All the Celestia hate. Just why? One of the reasons to why I love Lullaby for a Princess is that Celestia is in character. By the way, Ponyphonic songs and the animation LFAP are one of the few things I don't find overrated at all and think it "deserves the hype".

  6. I started using the internet when I was 8. I only played (rated E) flash games on Newgrounds and Club Penguin though. I never was the kind of kid who would go online to annoy everyone (my parents never would let me talk to strangers, by the way). I'm 14 as of now.

Just sharing my personal experience as a child.
