@@J.R., @@P-Jay, Seeing as though his second attempt to make friends would fail, Copper decided to just drop it. He figured Ice would find the other companions by himself as well, so he levitated himself and flew casually back into town, hoping to find any other companions. @@Unicorncob, He landed to a part of town where a tavern was, and he was about to go in until he saw a pony and a minotaur. He raised an eyebrow, but shrugged, seeing that they were friends. If they noticed him, he would have a happier look than in the train earlier, as Tyra saw.

@@J.R., Copper looked on as Ice went back to town with the fish he got from the river, and he looked a little shameful. He remembered the failed attempt to make friends with him, so he got up and trotted after him. When they were both within earshot, he said, "Hey, Ice. I wanna apologize for what happened in the train. I was a little too excited about finally meeting an Earth Pony who could match me in terms of fighting and magic."

@, @@J.R., @@P-Jay, Copper looked at Mori before she went away. Now that the train had stopped, they were able to go out to the kingdom. He took a last drink of tea, then placed bits for the bartender to put away for the train before heading off into town with his saddlebags. He looked mad. The being that called him insolent was the real insolent one, for he had no right to speak to him that way. It was time for him to learn his lesson. But first, he had to find his future companions. He trotted off to find at least one of them... ...which happened to be Ice Blizzard. He stopped for a moment, blinking several times at the Earth Pony's way of catching fish. He shrugged, and thought that maybe it was his way to fish where he lived. So he casually sat down, facing a different direction, then started humming a happy tune, like he normally does, as he waited for Ice to finish his fishing.

@, Copper was just about ready to explode, but the thought of being called 'master' prevented any form of yelling. Instead, he looked at the pony in question with utter confusion. "Say what? My apologies, but I'm not your, 'master.'" Then he grinned at the pony. "Well, If I'm a 'child', then why isn't this place blown to bits? If I am a child, I wouldn't have proper control of my power."

@, @@P-Jay, (Rage incoming. Italics means fury speak.) Copper said, "Thank you," to the stallion and began to drink his tea until looked up, swearing he heard a voice. Then the remark of being young infuriated him even more. The rage in his eyes was all-apparent, as he looked directly at a pony a few seats across. "Tell whoever said that to me, that I. Am. No. Child." He turned back to the bartender and waved a dismissive hoof to him before he could ask why he was upset. "My apologies. I'm not in the best of moods today." He then continued drinking his tea.

@, Sorry to say this, but you're a little too late on the draw, and I don't think you'll be able to join us. Sorry to say this. I think I'm making Copper have a hard time making friends.

This would be a good opportunity to explain how Copper would get into his alicorn state, if that's okay. Once again, link to his EVE bio is in the sig below.

@@P-Jay, Copper looked confused as all get out at the bartender, then looked at his I.D. It was true, it was expired. He smacked himself in the head and said, "Stupid me, I thought I already did it. Oh well. Yeah, I'll go with some iced tea, please. I need to cool down, anyways." He put his expired I.D back in his saddlebag, making a mental note to get his I.D situation fixed.

@@P-Jay, Copper nodded automatically, and fumbled in his saddlebags, finding his I.D. Eventually, he found it, and showed it to the stallion in question. "Here it is. I'm at 22 years and counting." And it showed, his I.D. had his birth date, which was 22 years ago, and the smile that's shown in his face.

@@J.R., @@Unicorncob, @@P-Jay, So, yeah, Copper's pretty pissed off, but he'll calm down eventually. Though the calming could be done faster if Ice did happen to tell Copper his story. Just saying.

Welp, there goes Copper's plan to make friends with Ice. He shook his head physically now. He couldn't believe he was denied friendship, especially this way. He looked completely irritated now, and to add salt to the already big wound, he was racking his brain, thinking of what the hell Ice's abilities were. He needed a strong drink. @@P-Jay, @J.R., @Unicorncob And that was exactly what he was going to do. He got up from his seat and walked to the next car, completely ignoring Ice and his apparent friend, though one look at his eyes would tell them that he was still irritated at the Earth Pony. As he walked into the tavern, he took a seat at the bar, and waved his hoof at the bartender. "I would like a strong drink, please."

@@J.R., Copper mentally shook his head. He had figured as much that he wouldn't know Ice's abilities, nor did the other pony believe him. He sighed, saying to him, "Alright. If you say so." The tone in his voice was the indication that he wasn't pleased at all with Ice, and add to that fact, he slumped on his seat, looking a little upset.

@@J.R., "C'mon, tell the truth." Copper was a little antsy, since he thought that Ice had a lot more than just living in the cold. Then, he basically said to himself, 'Screw it.' "How about I tell a story of how I got my magic first, then you tell me what you have as powers? I'll start by saying that up until six years ago, I wanted to learn magic like the unicorns do. I traveled across the world, trying to find the answer, but I ended up having to rely on Princess Celestia, who gave me a book that was shelved in the old Castle of the Royal Sisters. That book was one that Starswirl the Bearded wrote, trying to let Earth Ponies learn magic before his disappearance 1000 years ago. Princess Celestia then had cast an advanced, permanent spell on me, letting me control magic just like a unicorn." He didn't waste any time showing it off, as he used his hoof to levitate his saddlebags that he brought with him. He did so for a few seconds before setting them down and continuing. "During the next six years, I trained under her and learned a lot of magic abilities, from healing, to levitating myself so I could fly, and types of magic blasts to defend myself from enemies." He smiled at Ice, wanting to know his type of power. "So what kind of powers do you have?"

@@J.R., Copper nodded once again at Ice, saying to him, "Pleasure to meet you, too, Ice." He then noticed Ice's cutie mark again, and he had a weird, and confusing, feeling that this pony was something else, like he was. But it was better to ask something else similar to the question, than to state it directly. "So, how did you get your talent? My gut's telling me that you don't just love snowflakes."

@@J.R., Copper nodded at the pony, a bit confident that he could learn something from this. Maybe he could try to make this Earth Pony stronger and more skilled during this venture? Who knows, but at least he was willing to learn. "Same here. Ever since finishing my six years of magic training with Princess Celestia, I wanted to test myself, and the mountain's a great place to try and put my skills to said test." He realized he hadn't introduced himself to the pony. He would have to so that he could try and be at least friends with him. "My name's Copper Strikes. What's your name?"

@@J.R., Copper had heard legends about a mountain at Griffinstone, one that where many traveled, but only a few came back. He was excited on the inside to see what this new adventure would await him. He looked out the window for a bit before turning his head to what looked like a fellow Earth Pony who had an snowflake as a cutie mark. He said to the pony, "So, are you headed to the mountain? Because I am, and I can't wait to see what challenges are in store there."

Same here. They have the right to do what they want, so long as it's not anything horrible, so they don't have to stand up during the National Anthem.

@@captainborgue, I got too much going on, so I'm going to have to drop out of this RP. I made too many commitments here and other places, and I just don't have the time. Sorry to those who wanted to get to know Copper Strikes, but it'll be better if I just take myself out. Take care, all!
