He knew this wall of defense was fading, he could see it clearly, yet he didn't give up. He lowered his left fore-hoof and engulfed it in a fiery aura. This one last attack was the make-or-break attempt. Once his defenses were fully breached, he roared, "OWARI DA!" once again before aiming a colossal attack at the Minotaur's face. It was now or never.

@Literally Snails This was it. It was all or nothing. Copper knew exactly what he needed to do. He spread his arms out, powered up a tiny bit more than max, and then roared a war cry. "RRRAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" When Onyx got close, an overwhelming barrage of sonic energy attacks erupted out of Copper, aiming directly at the Minotaur. This barrage would have the ability to push anything back, even a berserker like Onyx, and harm them more than regular punches. This was the all-in attack that he would have to do to win this match.

@Literally Snails "You've got to be kidding me..." To hear that there were no forfeits was disgraceful to tournaments. He growled in fury, then pushed Dynamo off of him, re-igniting his fiery aura. "If that's what you want... THEN SO FUCKING BE IT!" That scream would overpower the booing happening in the crowd, as Copper jumped right back onto the area. This time... THIS TIME, there would be no mercy. He roared out, powering himself up to the absolute maximum.

Copper looked at Dynamo for a moment, then replied with, "You should know me better than anyone. Remember when I tested myself against our old Sensei before I became a merc? That was essentially this fight. I was testing the waters of what I was capable of doing against one of the opponents of the strongest team. I can see that, in my current state, I wouldn't completely win, so I intentionally gave up, in order to train harder, and master my full potential."

Copper looked at Draco and deflected the punch away, looking enraged. "You really think I was pissing away my power? Has your dumbass ever stopped to even THINK as to why I did this? It was because I wanted to gauge myself against one of Team Rokata's contestants. I knew I couldn't take any of them on with my full strength at this moment in time, and if you think what I did there was disgusting prideful display, why don't you think about if I took all of them at once?! I would've been dead within a few seconds, or even toyed with! And that Power Bracer? Maybe that was a sign of arrogance, but not pride." He took Dynamo's hoof and raised himself up on his one fine hind-leg. "I respect you, Draco, but freaking yikes, use what little brain you have and think." @Unicorncob @Literally Snails He looked at Jade and Shining for a moment before nodding. "Yes, please take me to the medical area. I hope to be back in this spot soon."

@Literally Snails Oh no! That was the last thing Copper thought of when he did the all-out assault. Maybe it was because the pattern he had? Whatever the case it wasn't time to think as his leg bone was cracked. He screamed in pain, and he was slammed to the ground to add to it. He had to think at his quickest now, or risk losing his life. "SONIC-KAIO!" he roared, and then a scarlet aura engulfed him. It wasn't the fiery aura, not even close, but it would serve some purpose. He also remembered that the thumb bone, well the equivalent to it as far as claws and the like, was the weakest bone in the body, so he didn't have to use a lot of force to kick his broken hind-hoof out of Onyx's grasp, and when he did, he retreated to his original spot, basically floating with one hoof on the arena ground, panting heavily. "Good move," he said to Onyx, his scarlet aura still intact. Then he closed his eyes, and stopped the aura. "You're an amazing fighter, Onyx." he stated as he opened his eyes. "I'll definitely come back next year for our rematch, and I'll be stronger than before." With that, he did the unthinkable and jumped off the arena circle, plopping his flank on the ground thanks to his hind-hoof being broken. "Don't bother counting, Topaz. I forfeit this match to Onyx."

@Literally Snails "Heh... you fell for it." Those were the only words Copper spoke before he disappeared in front of Onyx. He had already planned ahead, making it look like he was just going to charge in front of Onyx. Instead, he bolted around the small area between him and Onyx, aiming yet another flurry of attacks around him, but these had tons more power than the last barrages with this aura. He was going all in on this assault, and if this fails, well... it was worth a shot.

"..." Copper looked at the Minotaur with a heave of a sigh. "If that's what you want..." He closed his eyes, then flung himself straight to Onyx. This was the only time he put in every single ounce of his current power into this one punch, and it showed with his aura being made into an arrow, so either this connects, or he is forced to forfeit the match. He aimed a punch straight at the Minotaur, with the intention of killing.

Hearing that from Jade, Copper looked back at his team, initially confused. He had to look away from them for a brief moment before realizing that, yes, he had limits. Well he did know that, but it didn't actually hit him until now. Has Onyx ever gotten that much power before? Then a thought hit him. He closed his eyes and intentionally removed his current aura, returning to the fiery aura prior. If he needed to exploit Onyx's limit, he'll have to focus on speed instead of power.

@Literally Snails After a few seconds of Onyx coming out of the smoke, Copper came out as well. He was bruised, scraped, and had some blood on his body on top of that, but his aura was still kicking strong. At least it was until it started to fade a little bit. Both Team Lotus and Team Rokata could see this as a clear sign that he had not yet mastered this power, and it came down to one simple conclusion as Copper said calmly, "Of course. I never had to go this far in terms of my true strength."

@Literally Snails Copper did hear Jade's comment, but like Mason, paid no heed to that "Advice". He knew what he was told by Tatterhoof, in the Berserkers being able to control their emotions. He wasn't letting his own emotions get the better of him, not here, not now. He crossed his fore-hooves and took the blast, but in fact, he held the massive energy wave. Straining a bit from trying to control it, he was barely able to condense it down to a small ball of energy before he jumped up. "OWARI DA!" he screamed, thrusting his hooves forward to send the same energy right back at Onyx. (Owari Da = It's over.)

@Literally Snails Fear. That word had been sprung in Copper's mind at that moment. The word pulsated through him, cutting him like a knife through butter. That was what he was feeling right now at the current state of Onyx. And it made him smile. "You've got me terrified, Onyx." he said to the Minotaur. "I haven't felt this way since the start of my mercenary career. Your strength is incredible... and now..." he took out the power bracer... and shattered it with his fore-hooves, his face conforming into his own rage. "...I am not going to use some trivial item to claim a victory that I don't deserve with. Too long have I relied on myself, and I'm not going to stop that now! I WILL DEFEAT YOU, IN MY OWN WAY, ON MY OWN TERMS!" Suddenly, he created a cyclone of his fiery aura, roaring out once again. The ground shaking was more intense now, and the overwhelming power seemed to match toe-to-toe with Onyx. After all of that, his new aura gave a much more menacing feel to it. His power increased dramatically too.

@Literally Snails Copper was getting a bit heated from frustration as well, and it showed with him gritting his teeth. This fight was going nowhere at this rate, but he couldn't tell if the crowd was on the edge or getting bored. Probably a mix of both. It was time to step it up. His aura expanded as he roared out, the ground shaking more violently than before from his initial power up. More energy was being released from him, but he was still holding back some. When he charged at Onyx, he moved far faster than before, and the punches were more rapid and more powerful as well.

@Literally Snails Copper did overhear Rokata, but he paid no mind to it. Nobody knew what he was truly capable of except for him. He re-ignited his fiery aura and charged at Onyx, first utterly obliterating the boulder hurled at him, before he aimed a kick to the Minotaur's face, this time putting a lot more effort into it.

This again? He understood the kind of power Onyx had, but this was painful to experience without even being damaged. With that in mind, Copper stood his ground, tapping into just a tiny bit more power in order to punch through the boulders that were coming towards him. However, Topaz's comment caught him off guard, and when he looked at the announcer in shock, he got smacked by a boulder. "Ow..." he muttered before springing back up, again without Topaz counting. He cricked his neck, then checked his muzzle. Good thing no blood since he was looking at Topaz.

@Literally Snails He could tell his opponent was holding back, which wasn't really surprising to the Earth Pony. He was still holding back himself, despite the overwhelming surge of power he showcased. Like his own attacks, Onyx's would be blocked, but some would connect, and that made Copper back off for now. At his current state it wasn't hurting as much, but he could feel some pain at the moment.

@Literally Snails Copper WAS planning to do a strike on Onyx, however this completely changed it. He rammed his fore-hooves forward, and as a result turned the segment of the arena into rubble, in the process falling down due to the weight of the ground. He immediately recovered before Topaz could start counting, then charged at the Minotaur, attempting to perform a flurry of punches and kicks at him.

@Literally Snails Copper simply stood there, his fiery aura un-fazed by this attack. He waited for the right moment to counter attack, and when it happened, He aimed a head-butt at the Minotaur's chest, barely scraping the elbow attack. If connected, this attack would be far more powerful than what would be anticipated, and also, if connected, would send Onyx right back to where he started.

@Literally Snails Copper looked over at Topaz, wanting to say something, but then looked back at Onyx. "Good luck." he simply said to the Minotaur. There was the usual emotionless expression in his voice, however there was a brief sound of a competitor in it.

The tone of voice that Copper gave to Jade would tell his team that he had every intention to win this match. He casually took off his cloak and gave it to Dynamo, saying, "Take care of this for me, and if I die, use it to remember me by." Then he walked slowly to the arena circle and looked at Team Rokata. "Team Rokata," he spoke out, his voice carrying itself throughout the stadium. "All of my team can feel the intense energy you are all emitting. The amount of pressure being exerted from you all, in your hopes of defeating my team..." He cracked a smile. "...I'll have to respond in kind." He started straining, roaring out as he powered up himself. Sparks similar to how you start a fire began emitting from him, the ground began to shake slightly, and then... "GRAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" He slammed his hooves down, and a fire-style aura engulfed him, letting out a lot of heat in the process. If Onyx remembered, The Earth Pony had an identical aura from when he was being tested, but that time was a mere intimidation tactic. This time it was real, as a tremendous amount of power was surging from him in all directions. "Now the question is... how long can this heat last?" he asked no one in particular, but it was still loud enough for everyone to hear. (The following image is only to show what his aura looks like so everyone can have a good idea. Don't worry, he can still be damaged.)

@Literally Snails @Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad @dragon4111 @reader8363 @Arid_Blitz The only other person to not be fazed by the overwhelming power Team Rokata was dishing out, besides Jade, was Copper. Point in fact he was a bit angered by this revelation. He looked at his left fore-hoof as his whole body pulsed with a tremendous amount of energy for a brief moment, shown by his body engulfed in a red outline, before calming itself down. It was like his body wanted to take on all of them at once, but he knew he had to hold back. When he saw the red outline of his true power, he recalled the past two times when he had to go all-out on some enemies during his mercenary days, with a power he had discovered early on in his career. This time felt different, however. "Just how long can I last with this amount of power against Onyx?" he asked himself, loud enough so not only can he hear himself, but his teammates would be given a warning sign to think of what might happen if he overheats.

@reader8363 @Literally Snails @Dynamo Pad @Arid_Blitz @Unicorncob For some reason, Copper knew that this crowd might turn against Rokata if he says the wrong thing, which made him smile just a tiny bit. He looked over at Jade, then went near her and said, "Best of luck against Rokata. I know you can beat him, and at the same time silence this dumb crowd."

@Literally Snails @Unicorncob @dragon4111 @Dynamo Pad @reader8363 Copper Strikes was running to his group. They would tell he was in a mad rush, and with good reason. Once he made it there, he looked at his group and said, panting heavily, "I'm so sorry guys. I was caught up in some training with Team Crimos. I'm ready now." They could see a light bruise on his cheek from the training.

"Yes, we were paying attention to what you said about Onyx," Jackson stated, calming down as he talked to Quill. He had to think for a brief moment before he realized something about the Minotaur. "If my assumption is correct, Onyx had to speak to Rokata, having remembered someone telling the true host of this body that he is usually a quiet one. I am merely taking a wild shot in the dark here, but Onyx would be channeling his anger on Rokata against Copper." He thought long and hard, and then had an idea. "Hmm... if I can somehow manipulate Onyx, thanks to him having some form of demon inside of him, I could probably be able to have him help us kill Rokata."

@Unicorncob @Dynamo Pad @Literally Snails @reader8363 @dragon4111 Copper's eyes immediately switched from his typical brown to a glowing purple as the demon took control. "If what you said is true, Dynamo, then I fear that the creatures watching the finals are going to be possessed." he said to Copper's team. "And before you ask, I'm only controlling this body via an agreement we made together, and for simplistic purposes call me Jackson. With that said, there needs to be a way to save everyone, and I might be able to do something about this whole situation if it plays out perfectly."
