  1. He had to breathe, for he didn't know what was gonna come from Jade. "It's about Tricis." he began. Originally he had planned to take it slowly, but it was better to just say it now and get it over with. "Rokata told me to tell you that he murdered her in cold blood, and that he liked it and has no remorse for doing it." He didn't speak fast, he didn't stutter, he just flat out said it.
  2. @Dynamo Pad @Literally Snails @Unicorncob @reader8363 @dragon4111 He knew there would be a team meeting he'd be late to. He just knew. After clearing his head, he made his way to Shining's office where he had seen Dynamo, Shining and Jade. The moment he saw Jade, however, made him say, "Jade, there's something I need to tell you."
  3. He figured there would be no pulse from Tricis, but he had to check to make sure. Seeing that she was finally dead, Copper sighed lightly. "If only you knew what you put yourself into, Rokata," he said to himself before leaving the room. @Dynamo Pad He walked out of the hospital building, clearly showing a face of distraught.
  4. "..." There was only a round a silence from the demon-possessed pony for a few seconds. Then he went to check her pulse, and to see if there were any demons possessing her just in case. He could do both in one fell swoop, but that didn't stop him from saying, "Such a shame. As the true host of this body said when you first met him face to face, there's no point in being afraid of the inevitable. Though... you do realize that you've just signed your death certificate, right? If I tell Jade Lotus what you had told me, then she will murder you in the finals. I would figure that you'd force me to make this more private, and to top it off you'd kill the host right now." The demon possessed pony couldn't help but give out a hearty laughter as he took his hoof off Tricis. Then his eyes reverted to brown as the laugh faded into an emotionless state. "If I was your father," Copper said, "I'd disown you."
  5. @Dynamo Pad @Lektra Bolt "Ugh," the blue Earth Pony groaned out in disgust. It was rather infuriating to have gone through what he had this morning. "Well I had overslept because I forgot to have my alarm clock set for 5 in the morning, I had basically threw every of my possessions on the floor trying to stay awake, and to top it off I missed my shift in the Ponyville Post Office. Lovely." He looked over at the Pegasus mare, then gave a smile. "Oh, my name is Copper Strikes. What's your name?"
  6. @Dynamo Pad @Lektra Bolt It was a disaster of a morning for Copper Strikes. He had overslept, which wasn't a good thing, he stumbled all over his house trying to stay awake, and to top it off, he missed his shift in the Ponyville Post Office. Overly frustrated, he had to call his boss to tell him that he wasn't going to make his rounds today. It was total mayhem for him. He had a semi-decent dream, however. His dream was his usual racing in the Running of the Leaves, where he finished a respectable second, despite qualifying poorly. With that said, after eating a nice breakfast to calm himself down, he made his way around Ponyville, managing to find Dynamo and... who was the other pony? She looked like an electrician of sorts. Either way, he trotted over to them. "Hey there," he said once he got within their hearing range. "My goodness I had a disaster of a morning."
  7. "Too much progress... from the result throwing away your own pride." The sudden voice would reveal to be Copper Strikes, who was leaning against the near wall closest to the door leading into the room. Since he was an Earth Pony, he could be able to detect ponies inside buildings using the floors below him, since they're connected to the earth around said building. He had his demon accent, and his eyes were blood red, but he wasn't attacking Rokata. "Before you ask, the host of this body wanted to check up on Tricis, but I had to take over momentarily when I sensed you." How he got there? This was a few minutes after trying to send fear into the rest of Team Rokata for the finals, and apparently it didn't work. Either way, he looked at the tall stallion before continuing. "Let me ask you something, Rokata. Will it be worth throwing your whole life away just to prove a thing that nobody has to choose? We can't be heroes, yes... but we sure as hell can't be villains, either. This entire thing... has your demise written all over it. And for what? A hollow claim to being a champion four years running in this stupid tournament. You could have been a likable pony, Rokata...." There was no anger, no sadness, no pity in his voice. Nothing except resent.
  8. Hey, Rainbow! Welcome to the community! I love Rainbow Dash as well so I think we'll be great buddies!
  9. ... There seemed to be an air of fear running through the entire stadium, one that rivaled that of Rokata's air of fear. It wasn't Rokata who was causing it, then who was? In came some scary gong sounds. Copper Strikes, who had put away his note pad, slowly stood up from his seat, standing on his hind hooves. A crack of lightning appeared from outside the stadium, as he looked down at the opposing team. There was no emotion, no humor, no pity. There was no turning back from their fate.
  10. *lurk lurk lurk: Leaves an obligatory, yet very belated, "Thank you for so much RPing help" note.*

  11. Copper rolled his eyes and brought his attention back to the fight at hoof. He noticed Mason and frowned, wondering how he was able to be the captain. He should probably try him out for a exhibition match to see how the little one's power fared to his.
  12. "Five years, eh?" Copper remarked, sounding quite interested. Then he chuckled. "Please tell me my team won't beat Rokata's team, I dare you. In fact I'll put in a wager. My team beats Rokata's team, you pay me. I'll go easy and say 50 bits. What are your terms?" He rarely gambles anything, but this was an opportunity he was not going to pass up. "By the way I'm facing the Minotaur who is named Onyx in the finals." Speaking of which, as the match was on, he got a rather good glimpse of the raw power that the Minotaur wielded. He didn't show anything of emotion when the main attack was shown, but he still took notes. This was going to be some vital info.
  13. Among the crowd was the cloaked Copper Strikes, who had a notebook with a pen. During this ordeal, he would be taking notes on each fighter that stepped up to the ring with the opposing team in order to help his team. Once the first fight officially came to a close, he looked at a attendee and said to them, "I see that Rokata is a popular fighter among the fans here. How long has he been doing this tournament for, if I may ask?"
  14. Copper took the Hoofcuff and nodded slightly, seeing the potential in this thing. "I see," he said. "I'll make good use of it, and in fact I've been working on a technique that could help with the power of this thing, but I still need to perfect it." Upon hearing the roar of the crowd, since he was the closest to the stadium, made him frown. He put on his cloak and said to Tatterhoof, "Well, thank you, Tatterhoof. "Your help will be wonders. If you'll excuse me... I have some business to take care of." With that, he walked into the Stadium.
  15. Copper took a moment to look at the Golden Hoofcuff. He had a feeling that it might only work for a short period of time, but he had to make sure this thing was strong enough to handle a raging bull. "Hmm..." he hummed, quietly taking the Hoofcuff. "How durable is this Hoofcuff, and more importantly, do I use it on his ankles?"
  16. So Onyx is his name? That was something that Copper figured an elite Minotaur's name would be. But that wasn't as nearly as important as the fighting style the silent one brought for the little Earth Pony. He then remembered the time when Onyx tested him, having been caught quickly off guard. "This is a damn if you do, damn if you don't situation for me," he stated to Tatterhoof. "If I provoke him I'll be getting a one-way ticket to hell with the power he has. If I don't, then that means I'm in no way strong enough to even take him on when I provoke him." Now he was in a deep thought, silently growling as he thought of a plan. "I'm gonna have to skip watching the semi-final match today. I'm gonna have to train my body to tank harder than it would ever tank, and even if I do, I can't provoke him unless I'm absolutely confident enough that I can handle it for a long time. On top of that I need to make damn sure I can hit him hard enough even in his trance."
  17. "...Huh," was the first response Copper said in the mention of the type of martial arts. "I've actually never heard of berserkers. Please do enlighten me on what I don't know. From what I could tell from my first encounter with the Minotaur, he was silent but quite deadly, though he was holding back."
  18. "I'm guessing by bull you're talking about that Minotaur fellow who surprise attacked me when he tested me out?" Copper asked with it bit of curiosity. "In that case, the bull. I'm quite curious as to how I deal with the guy without tanking too many hits."
  19. "I'm mostly here to get some air, and to tour the grounds," Copper explained. "Oh, and don't worry about me. I happen to be a good friend of Dynamo's, and I'm sure the team will be grateful for your help." He gave the showpony a smile, showing his trust.
  20. Copper was indeed still following them, not paying too much attention to the job stuff, but it was a nice change of pace. He himself said to Dynamo and Rose, "I'm known as a speedy Earth Pony, but I mostly speed when I'm racing and stuff. I work as a mailpony to keep me on my hooves, which helps me whenever I race in any marathons around Ponyville. I know all the places and shortcuts."
  21. @reader8363 "Uh..." Copper seemed a bit surprised. He probably had seen this unicorn before, but he wasn't to sure. "I think I have seen you before, and I think it was when I was in an Arcade. My name is Copper Strikes, anyway. Who might you be?"
  22. @reader8363 Copper saw that he was a little late on his response to the unicorn, and waited for his turn to speak. He knew it was rude to speak when not spoken to.
  23. Four Years Ago: To think that Copper Strikes saw the most heartbreaking tragedy of anything would be an absolute understatement. The moment he saw the old Elements of Harmony lose their lives had him in such tears that it could almost be heard for miles. He became good friends with them a month ago, and it was almost impossible to see them go. He went to their side and started bawling out, hugging each and every one of them. Present Day: That day still got to him, but not nearly as much as before. Now he had moved on from the tragedy and chose to live a little like Pinkie Pie, while still being himself. @Dynamo Pad Sadly, when he was walking he bumped onto a unicorn pony. "I'm so sorry!" he frantically said to the unicorn. "I didn't see where I was going!"
  24. "Lemme just nab my Amulet so I can help too. I can tell this'll be a long ride." (Not the Alicorn Amulet, I have to put that out there.)
