Well I guess your right. BUT WHAT IF THERE WAS CHAOS -
The situation twilight got herself in must have been really confusing... At first she was like "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HAPPENING?!" in her mind at the beginning. At the very end she told spike how she got a book delivered to her. When she said that she said "From one to another another to one a mark of ones destiny singled out alones fulfilled". It got me wondering... Was Starswirl persuing dark magic? Could he be in a sense be evil? WHAT COULD THIS MEAN?!?! (by the way that looked like dark magic to me but the thing that got me thinking... HOW COULD SHE NOT HEAR THE MAGIC RIGHT BEHIND HER? WHY DIDNT SHE INVESTIGATE?!) If you guys out there have seen someone named axa give me a shout out cause my heart aches without him *starts tearing up* The memory I wanna forget is sayin goodbye. On magical mystery cure at first twilight was probably thinking "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON". But the thing that got me thinking... Same here stardust. I agree with stardust. My answer is also both. Though Celestia and Luna are born of alicorn bloodlines were not sure about Cadence. We think Cadance was born a pegasi and made into an alicorn just the same as twilight by proving herself worthy or... (THIS THOUGHT JUST CROSSED MY MIND) What if Cadence earned her alicorn power and horn by being adopted as a niece for Celestia OR maybe alicorns are born pegasi and as they get older they earn there wings maybe she got a wish granted and she was an orphan! WHO KNOWS?!?! (WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT was she ever an orphan?)

I agree with minty melody, there shouldn't be anymore alicorns than there already is. Twilight has a important purpose. If all of mane six were alicorns the magic of friendship would be at risk. If the mane six were alicorns they would have so many duties that they would have very little time together making there relationship almost not a relationship at all. Plus if they were all alicorns that would make twilight and her element (the element of friendship) usless as well as spreading the magic of friendship. Making all of them as useless as twilight. One last thing, there would be too much magic which would throw off the balance of nature transcending the barriers of which would create a massacre of chaos which would put the world at risk of losing their faith, hope and strength as well as peace in the land. (I have a point you know!)
