Funny thing about that is, it contradicts the laws of physics. Newton's First Law states that an object will stay at rest unless an unbalanced force acts upon it.

Aquinas said something similar centuries before when, using principles first formulated by Aristotle, he stated that all life, in its creation, is taken from a state of potentiality to a state of actuality. Since existence would be impossible if every single thing needed to be reduced from a state of potentiality to a state of actuality by something else, there must be a primary mover.
