*sigh* Finished, and boy was it a great book. As I said, very sad and depressing, but also very beautiful. Thanks for the well wishes everypony!

It takes a really good author to end a book on a depressing note while not making the reader regret having read it. Maybe I'll pick it up myself.

I'd highly recommend it, it's a fantastic novel! Best handling of the post-apocalyptic setting I've ever seen in literature.
