      Oh, you're probably not from the U.S.! March Madness is what we call the NCAA (college level) basketball tournament, which starts out as a Round of 64 teams and so forth. People fill out brackets and try to predict the tournament results as accurately as possible, sometimes even betting on them; hence the term "March Madness".
